this is *** from Rent Own HQ ( Business ID: ***). In regards to this complaint the notes in our archives show that the customer said he had a claim for hail damage and had taken the vehicle to a shop of his choosing. He was asked to produce proof that the
vehicle was indeed at a shop for repairs after which he stated the vehicle was actually at his house. He came in with an insurance check that he said simply required our signature to release funds. Our staff informed him as the lien holders that we are the ones that chose the body shop and asked for proof of vehicle being in a shop. The vehicle was taken to a shop that we regularly outsource for repairs and the vehicle was repaired.
