Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: I first want to correct my original complaint because after fees and paperwork were completed my
total cost of my broken car was $I purchased the car on April and my first attempt to reach out to this company for help was on April I reached out less than hours after I signed the purchase paperwork asking for assistance and letting the business know that I had safety concerns regarding the carI then reached out repeatedly over the course of the next days pleading for them to take a look at the car or to help me figure out what might be wrong with it as it was not running correctly I also attempted to call the business in May at which point I was finally responded to in a very rude manner refusing to assist meOn June 14, the day that the engine blew, I called them and asked them if I could please just come trade the broken car for a car that ran properly at which point they let me know that they could not help yet again, due to the car being sold to me "as is." I let them know that they actually put my daughters life in danger because we were going mph down a Lane Street during o'clock traffic when the steering and the brakes quit operatingAt that time I was told specifically to contact my lawyer as they had no interest in helping me whatsoeverI have all of my text messages between *** and I saved and after reviewing them again it is very clear to me that this company has no interest in making this rightThey Are certainly not helping their customersIn the beginning I was not even asking for a refund, just a car that started and ran, and I was treated with complete disregard and disrespect in the matterI am not sure what else I can do to make this right but I know that our livelihood has been in Question numerous times due to the lack of transportation to and from work and that our very safety was placed in a vulnerable state due to this business' actions I am asking once again to be given a refund on the broken vehicle in the amount of $so that I may purchase a vehicle that runs from a company that is honest so that my daughter and I can get to and from work and provide for our familyThe amount of heartache and stress over the situation is immeasurable and I will contact a lawyer if that is what is necessaryI truly hope that it is not since my family has suffered enough and I look forward to resolving this matter as soon as possible
Regards,

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
I recently received a response in regards to a complaint I made against a car dealership Complaint ID #[redacted]. The letter stated that if I had been in contact with the dealership that I should let the Revdex.com know, which is the purpose of this email.   Basically, the car dealer I had previously been in contact with ([redacted]) called me on the 2nd of June and threatened to have my car repossessed if I did not make a payment immediately. He claimed that it was overdue; however, the remaining payment I owed was not due until the 10th of June. I believe he was annoyed about the Revdex.com trying to contact him because he mentioned that someone had made a complaint about him online and that he had to pay for a lawyer to resolve this issue, which I don't believe is true, particularly since the letter I received from the Revdex.com indicated that he did not respond to the attempts that were made to contact him. In any case, I paid that remaining $1000 I owed on the vehicle (on the 8th of June) because I did not want to suffer any potential legal consequences. Furthermore, I had to pay $700 to a mechanic recently in order to get the car functioning again because having no vehicle was causing huge problems for me commuting to and from work and I can't afford to spend money on another car. So, if I was going to spend money repairing this vehicle then ideally I would like to own it, which meant that I had to pay the remaining $1000 to receive the title and number plates. I would also like to add, that I have not been able to afford to have the necessary mechanical repairs completed on this vehicle. The repairs that were made were in regards to the transmission computer, which was causing the car to be undrivable. The car is temporarily drivable, but there are other mechanical problems that need to be fixed in order for the car to function long term.   Thank you for your time and feel free to post this message with the rest of my complaint.   Regards, [redacted]

This car dealer advertises on Craigslist and misrepresents the condition of the vehicles they sell and uses deceptive sales tactics. They will say ANYTHING to make a sale and take your money. BUYER BEWARE! You might was well flush your money down the toilet than trust a car or truck from these guys.

We care about our customers and hope you would give us the chance to make it right for you. We'd like to take this opportunity to emphasis, even though we do not offer financing on any of our transactions, we made an exception and were happy to give you an additional two month to help you make payments towards the remaining balance. In addition, we offered to have the tire replaced to ensure there were no further issues with the tire.As far as the service items that you have obtained after the purchase, we'd like to reiterate that this is an used vehicle, therefore, the parts are bound to wear out with time. Considering the age of the car, at its current condition it did pass the sate inspection. Mechanically a vehicle has to be in a good, functioning condition to pass a comprehensive vehicle safety inspection, which your car did with no problem.   We also encourage and welcome mobile mechanics who are hired by our clients to examine the vehicle prior to purchasing them. In addition, we allow our clients to drive the vehicles off the lot to their mechanics for further examination.   Please kindly review the Buyers Guide statements and let us know if you like us to send you another copy for your view. The Buyers Guide As-Is No Warranty and the Warranty Disclaimer statements were explained to you thoroughly on the day you've purchased the car. By signing them you have acknowledged that no warranties were offered to you for this used vehicle and you will pay for all costs for any future repairs. The dealer assumes no responsibility for any repairs unless it was agreed to.  Concerning the repair list which was given to you by your mechanic after the date of purchase, we'd advised you to look into utilizing other mechanics who are known to be affordable and could possibly correct the issues at a fraction of the cost. We'd like to reiterate that we are not affiliated with any service providers. That was our way of helping you find an affordable mechanic. We do not offer warranties and sell all vehicles As-Is. To minimize dissatisfaction from our customers, we make sure our inventory and our vehicles are in a great working condition prior to selling them.  We are sorry to hear that the car wasn't up to the standards you were hoping for, but in an effort to resolve this dispute we would like to offer you a partial credit of $130.00 to assist you further with the service items needing repairs.
