Texas Best Fence & Patio

Unfortunately we had a terrible experience using Texas Best Fence & Patio and I believe that it was almost entirely due to the personnel we worked with. Our project manager, Dustin Evans, was unhelpful and rude throughout the whole process. From the very beginning he acted like a simple repair job was not worth his company’s time. Regardless, we contacted them to repair our gate that would not close and now it looks worse than it did before the repair.

The first time they did the job they put on sister rails that looked unprofessional and did not extend across the entire gate at the bottom, the stain didn’t match our fence, and the hinge that “repaired” the gate didn’t actually get it to close properly. The workers tried to call Dustin to ask questions about the project but couldn’t get ahold of him. When we contacted Dustin about it, he acted as if we were just overexaggerating and said he would get to it when they had time but they were now busy with other jobs. He also told us that the gate would never close properly so we should be happy with what we got. He also said that they would not be fixing the sister rail that was initially installed and we could just be satisfied with how it looked.

Someone did come back one morning totally unannounced to re-stain the fence and tighten the hinge. They used the correct stain but they were clearly in a hurry because it was missing in parts and runny. The hinge fell off the gate entirely less than a week after the job was completed and I had to fix it myself. Our fence would have been better off if we had never contacted them to do this job in the first place.

I hired Texas Best Fence to replace an existing wood privacy fence (April 2012) around our back and side yards on our corner lot, they gave a good estimate and the stained cedar privacy fence was put in on time, superior in quality and color, the prestained cedar wood was the envy of all our neighbors. The look, quality and time to install was all great, spot on, met all our expectations. They got the required city of Keller permits and everything went smooth as silk. I plan on using them again for another fence.

Texas Best Fence (TBF) is a company with NO integrity and responsibility!! Terrible company!!!

Jeff *** from TBF came to do estimate twice, but didn't see our fence was installed on top of a retaining wall. He made wrong estimates. When his crew came today, they didn't know what to do, but Jeff didn't talk or come in time to help. So the crew left without getting anything done. It is Jeff's fault, but when I finally talked to him, he was VERY rude!! I then called TBF 3 times and sent an email, asking their owner Colby to call me back, but I received no response!! I paid $3800 deposit for nothing done, no response and no solution!!! On top of it, I side aside this week for not traveling for business, but I waste all my TIME!!!

Therefore, I report this company to you, and hope for everyone to know the terrible thing this company did to us!!!
