I talked to the owner on Thursday and was told that he would take care of this and someone would call in thirty minutesNEVER HAPPENED My recommendation is to be very careful when dealing with this business or Keystone RV products Keystone does not have a list of dealers that have mobile technician capabilities for repairs I hired a local self employed tech and was able to get my RV back home

Does excellent work. Prompt service. Fair price. Would use again.

I purchased a Keystone Sprinter in April of 2015 and was unable to use the 5th wheel due to two cancer surgeries. We were planning a trip to Tennessee and in the process of getting the camper ready noticed that a motor for the slide had failed. I called to speak to the service manager and was told not to cancel the trip that they would fix the motor even if the had to take one off of another RV (this supports the other complaint above). I called back and was told my the service writer to send a picture of the motor and they would overnight a motor to their location. I sent the pictures at 11:00 AM and it was opened at 11:30 PM. I called back at 3:00 PM and they stated that they did not receive the pictures. After realizing what had taken place it was too late to order the motor. The motor was ordered the next day and was received on Wednesday of that week. The service manager and the service writer were never on the same page with communications. Although they had agreed to send a tech to my residence for a $110.00 charge, when questioned on Wednesday, the service writer stated he had no tech scheduled. Long story short, I fixed the motor my self.
I left for the trip on a Thursday and on Friday morning was barely able to get the slide closed. I called Kent Mitchell (8:00 AM) and spoke with the service manager and was told they would contact Keystone RV manufacturer and attempt to have a service tech meet me at my destination. I did not hear back from them and called at 12:00 noon to inquire and again was told by the service writer that someone was meeting me at the destination. The service writer obtained all of the information needed including my site number and stated that someone would be there at 3:00 PM to fix the problem. We wasted a Friday evening, a day Saturday, and a day Sunday trying to locate someone to fix this. None of the dealers in Knoxville, Tennessee would help. Keystone was of no help. Out of frustration I called the Kent Mitchell and spoke to the service manager and was told they were calling Keystone RV's again. There warranty person called and gave me a person's name and stated that I would receive a call in thirty minutesthis never happened. I called again that evening and spoke with the service manager. I stated the I would never do business with Kent Mitchell again after what I had been through. He told me that he would do me a favor, "Never bring your RV into our business for service." I talked to the owner on Thursday and was told that he would take care of this and someone would call in thirty minutesNEVER HAPPENED.
My recommendation is to be very careful when dealing with this business or Keystone RV products. Keystone does not have a list of dealers that have mobile technician capabilities for repairs. I hired a local self employed tech and was able to get my RV back home.

poor. purchased a multiflap abdominal binder for post surgical support after a tummy tuck. paid $50+, and 6 weeks later it no longer closes. The velcro is completely worn out, and a wire is poking through on my hip. I wrote and posted a review on their website, but it was deleted. apparently, they didnt like it. it was not inappropriate, just stating the truth. They opted not to publish it, and did not contact me to remedy the situation. poor product and poor customer service.

We bought a Heartland Bighorn from Kent Mitchell RV's in Hammond end of Jan 2015 as full timers. We had to take it back for warranty fixes 4 times in 6 weeks. the first time the RV stayed there for 2.5 days with no communications from them. When we went to check on progress nothing was done and the reason we were told was that the technician was in training for the week. They had no comment when I asked them why they took the RV in when they knew nobody could work on it. We had to pay for hotel accommodations ourselves.

Next time we made an appointment to ensure all is ready and needed parts received before we take it in. RV stayed for 2 days and we had to stay in hotel again on our own expense. They installed a generator for us even though we clearly requested that they should ONLY work on fixing the warranty issues and NOT install the generator. My point was I don't want to buy more from them if they can't stand behind their products or service. They fixed 3 items only. One was the new washer they installed but never worked. When we told them it's not working their reply was they tested it and it worked. The fix was the installed valve was too small (it couldn't work), yet we had to wait for them to request insurance approval to fix it!!
They used all the propane and didn't give us a walk through how to operate the generator. We got stuck at the camp site not being able to close the slides because the battery didn't charged since they worked on the generator. The generator exhaust came out where the water hoses connected. The rest of the items were not fixed because the parts were not there, even though we were told they received it and we could bring the RV in.
3rd Time round, we had to take it back to fix the battery issue, generator exhaust and outstanding warranty issues. We requested additional items like cabinet to be installed and kitchen island to be fixed since the first time we took it in for repairs. I'm not even talking about those!
I called Heartland customer service and found that the parts were ordered AFTER the 2nd time they had the RV!!
4th time round and 4th time hotel expenses on us and we are still not done with the list. We took the RV in one day earlier and the slide repair (it is leaking water) is not done. We were told the tech is sick and they have only this one person who can put it back (the whole slide had to be taken out ).
Heartland approved 6 hours for the slide repair and now we are told they don't know if it will be ready 4 days later. The list we agreed upon for work to be done was estimated one day, maybe 2 max. Majority items on list are there since 1st service!
The list goes on but one thing is for sure, Kent Mitchell RV doesn't stand behind their products or services. They don't distinguish between full time RV'ers and even an appointment made for service doesn't make any difference.
I will never go back and never recommend them to anybody. the sad thing is their answers and excuses don't make sense yet they expect you to just accept it. They took our HOME and kept it while not working on it! Warranty work actually cost us 8+ days in hotel, diesel etc expenses, well over $1000!

We recently purchased a 2015 camper and have had numerous unresolved issues. For our first newly purchased camper, we've experienced issues with the air conditioner, water leaking through the doors, mold growing in bathroom cabinet ,we have called the dealer,Kent mitchell for service left our new camper there for days only to get it back in worse shape, including someone's urine in our toilet . Nothing has been resolved in this matter we have had electrical issues as well . We are very unsatisfied with this camper.
