Hello, [redacted] , thank you for your letter, we have inspected all the papers and it shows that the computer was purchased at discounted price in "as is" condition, per our policy we do not cover those computes by warrantyAs I see despite of that you have have had your computer serviced for free on 12/08/2012, I see a record with your signature that you have inspected your computer before picking it up form Texas Computer ServiceWe are sending the copy of this document [email protected] for [redacted] (case manager)Please see attached document

Thank you for letting us know about the issue with the computerAfter reviewing the paperwork and the notes concerning this work order, I see that the customer did not want us to do a diagnostic on this computer before the work
requestedThe customer requested Texas Computer Service to install an aftermarket screen that the customer provided at the time of drop off with the computerWork was approved for before taxThe customer was explained that we are not able to provide any warranty for the parts that we did not provideThe LCD panel provided was not the original model for this particular HP laptopThe customer proceeded with approving this order at their own riskAttachment of the signed receipt has been provided that states the customer has inspected the computer and is satisfied with the work that was doneTexas Computer Service provides warranty only covering the repairs we have made and for the parts we provide Apparently prior to be brought to us the computer has suffered severe physical damage, indicated by the broken screen, and likely has other damaged components as a result of the impactUnfortunately, the customer did not request of us to run a diagnostic for this computer prior to requesting for the installation of the screen, in which all the damage to the laptop could have been revealed and provided customer with a more complete picture of what repairs are necessary to make the laptop fully functionalWe apologize for the inconvenience and aim for nothing but 100% customer satisfactionWe are willing to provide $store credit for any labor(Good for days)Texas Computer Service

I am rejecting this response because: The form I signed was stating that *** put my computer back together correctly and was giving it back to me after telling me that there were never any speakers in my computer and he would contact me when they had another computer at the same price for me to do an even exchangeSHAME ON YOU AND YOUR BUSINESSI hope this comes back to haunt cheaters like you who take advantage of people like me who put there trust in your servicesI will pass this experience along to everyone that wants to hear itHopefully you will feel the negative impact like I will because now I will purchase a computer from a more reliable and trusting business!!!

aftermarket screen that the customer provided at the time of drop off with the computer. Work was approved for 69.95 before tax. The customer was explained that we are not able to provide any warranty for the parts that we did not provide. The LCD panel provided was not the original model for this particular HP laptop. The customer proceeded with approving this order at their own risk. Attachment of the signed receipt has been provided that states the customer has inspected the computer and is satisfied with the work that was done. Texas Computer Service provides warranty only covering the repairs we have made and for the parts we provide.  Apparently prior to be brought to us the computer has suffered severe physical damage, indicated by the broken screen, and likely has other damaged components as a result of the impact. Hello dear [redacted]. My name is [redacted] I am the
owner of Texas Computer Service LLC. Thank you for your feedback concerning our
services. I have conducted a thorough investigation have listened all phone and
video recordings related to 3 work orders mentioned in your...

complain.
What I found is: technicians that were working with you have
been very professional, helpful and respectful.
I also see, that the problem started when our technician
refused to install an unlicensed version of Microsoft office on your computer. Per
our company policy we are not allowing any pirated software installations.
Technician has explained that to you multiple times that unless you are able to
provide a valid license for Microsoft office we are unable to install it for
you. Unfortunately the product key that you provided was not valid.
Concerning the services provided for Hp LAPTOP COMPUTER
 I do include copies
of all 3 work orders as an attachment, all 3 of them are signed by you and in
all 3 of them you are stating that the work was done to your satisfaction.   
H4- W9484, Fan replacement, work was complete and issue is
resolved
H4- W9599, During this visit you were made aware that the
hard drive is in bad condition and you were recommended 2 options: Hard drive
replacement or Hard drive repair despite of our recommendation you requested a
cheaper service, windows reinstallation so you computer can be bootable again.
All was done to your satisfaction and we are providing a copy of the document
where you state that you have inspected the work we have done and you are
satisfied.
H4- W9720, The hard drive finally failed and you approved the
hard drive replacement. All was done inspected by you and document is signed
stating you are satisfied.
Unfortunately we are not able to refund any of the services
provided to you.
I have made a notation on your account and have placed $30
store credit  for any labor ordered it will
be good for 12 months in case you will still need some help in future.

Mrs. [redacted], thank you for your feedback, we are sorry for not being able to do more for you. Unfortunately [redacted] is not working for us, and he has never been a manager in our company. We do not have any documented records by [redacted] of promises that you mention in your complain.  And even if he had made such promises (hypothetically), it would be his personal responsibily to fulfill them as our company policy is not covering any computers in as is sale by any warranty especially 18 months after the sale . A good time to address things of that nature is within days of the sale or a week or two after the sale, not after 18 months as now we do not have any video or audio records that we could use to verify the information. We are not able to store video monitoring for more then 2 months as it takes terabytes of space in computer we have to discard files that are 60 days or older, that is normally enough to cover any situation as our warranty is 30 days from the work done or the sale date on items covered by warranty.  On the other side I understand your frustration and am willing to provide $80 of store credit towards any purchase of a laptop or a repair work if that is something you might accept.
