for years and older, to obtain a Learner's License (Permit).With regards to the Individual that filed a complaint against us on the grounds that we offered him a hour class for $and told him that he would be able to take the driving test with the Texas Department of Public Safety.Please let your records show that the individual for whom the complaint was filed for, was asked (with his motherby his side) If he was yrsof ageTo which the response was yes.This is a routine question that we ask every individual enrolling In this class.The individual paid $by MONEY ORDERNot $as stated in the complaint.In all the years that we have been holding this class, it is the first time that this has ever happened.It Is evident, that this was partly due to an oversight on our part, since the Individual did soy yes, when asked if hewas 18.The mother of said student did come In demanding a refund and stating that we are stealing money and she doesnot know how we are still Is business.Of course, we had no clue as to what she was talking aboutOnce she was asked to explain what she was talkingabout, the employee ***) at the front desk told her that she could not give her a refund and that she would need to speak to her supervisorThe mother of sold student said that she would call or come in to do so but we did not hear from her anymore after that.Regardless of the miscommunication, we do intend to issue a full refund of $(One Hundred Ten Dollars) to *** * *** Ill, in exchange for the certificate that was issued to him since the certificate may be used once he turns 18, in five monthsIt was never our Intention, nor is it our policy to keep the funds paid by a student who could not use the certificate due to an oversight such as this, If this was something that we did on o regular basis, we would definitely not be In business anymore.Cordially,*** ***
