Texas Elite Roofing strives to provide quality work on every single job and to achieve 100% customer satisfaction 100% of the timeWe apologize that our customer was not satisfied in this case We were under the impression, that this customer was happy with our work and unaware of her dissatisfactionUpon tear off of this roof, on the day of install, [redacted] made the customer aware of some additional damage that was found to the roof’s deckingWe offered the customer a repair price to take care of the issue and she declinedTexas Elite Roofing would have welcomed the opportunity to contract additional work on this project for an additional profit, if the customer had been willing to incur the additional expense [redacted] was sent to the residence to look at a rafter issue upon receiving a call from the homeowner stating that rafter damage was listed on her inspection reportAt that time, [redacted] explained that the rafter is not part of the roofing process; however, we would be happy to send someone over to look at it and repairWe were not made aware of decking issues on her inspection report when she called [redacted] and the customer negotiated a price on these repairs completely independent of Texas Elite RoofingWe were not aware of their agreed upon price, the terms of their contract, nor the specific damage to the decking as noted in this complaint There was obviously a breakdown in communication with this customer that we do not feel we are at fault forWe wish that we had been given the opportunity to get this situation clarified and resolved before it reached this point We would have done anything necessary to make this right had we been given the chance to do soWe stand behind the quality of our work and are proud to serve the DFW Metroplex

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: On the day of the roofing job, he told me in the morning that there may be need for decking which would cost a couple hundred dollars I told him to let me know He never made me called me and told me that it was necessary I NEVER DECLINED the additional repair work I told him that morning, to just call me if it needed additional work because I needed it to be fixed correctly because I was putting house on ***et and did not want any problems with the inspection HE NEVER CALLED!!! HE NEVER SAID IT NEEDED EXTRA REPAIR!!! When I got home that day, he told me some of the decking was bad but they were able to reinforce it and insured me that it would pass inspection.Again, He NEVER made me aware of some additional damage until the roofing job was almost complete He made the decision to reinforce the decking and looking at the pictures taken by the inspector it looked terrible It looked unsafe When I called him about the inspection, he assured me that the job was done correctly!!!! He did not bring up the anything about a repair job that I declined He was to busy to come himself and was about to go on vacation He called [redacted] about coming to look at the roof I was about to lose my buyer and yes I made the decision on my own to fix the roof At first, [redacted] did not feel it was so bad [redacted] said that [redacted] (Roofer) was assuring him that the decking was reinforced correctly Once he got up there and was working on the job , [redacted] realized it was worse than he thought and he considered it unsafe Of course, I approved the extra work! I needed it fixed immediately!!! I just want to say again- The roofer never told me that the decking needed to be fixed I never declined extra work!!! We offered the customer a repair price to take care of the issue and she declined. Texas Elite Roofing would have welcomed the opportunity to contract additional work on this project for an additional profit, if the customer had been willing to incur the additional expense.
