Additional Information in response to this complaint. There were some errors in reporting from the client There was an inspection ordered by them which yielded a few code related items, which were dealt with immediately We encourage our [redacted] to hire outside inspectors if they have concerns, even though we have energy, code, and structural inspections The list was triple checked, as haven had all code related items addressed As far as the Facebook comment goes, the client posted completely inaccurate statements and altogether lies on our social media page I was alerted to this by one of my other clients We shut down the option for this, as Mr [redacted] continued to post untruth after untruth As a business owner, when someone lies about you, it matters not if it is a lie, the damage is out there For this reason, I exercised my right, as it is [redacted] site, to remove the ability for anyone to post on my page This is a shame, because besides this person, ** page is filled with very positive feedback and compliments There was also statements about personal knowledge from Mr [redacted] that his job is the oldest job we have This is not true We build custom homes Due to changes by [redacted] and size of the project, these can go for a very long time If I read properly, he also stated that the home was paid in full, which was incorrect at the time At this time, they have paid us in full While they have not fulfilled the requirements of their community, we have made contact with them to deliver keys and then let them deal with their issues with the community directly with their community Finally, there is a statement that we did not fulfill our contractual obligation to the owner This is completely false The only issue that may be considered as "not in compliance" could be the time factor There was never a contractual notation of time in their contract I'm unaware of any builder who places time constraints in the contract due to the many variables that can cause delays in construction (as noted in my previous response). We are a custom build on your land builder Everything is completely customized, then engineered, and then built in the field With this level of customization, each project is 100% new We take pride in our work and in the fact that we do what is right; always As I mentioned, I am available to conference or follow up if that is required.Sincerely, [redacted] Texas Farmhouse Homes, LLC [redacted]

The *** of this company has failed to provide the product within a specified amount of time reasonable with such a buildThe *** own web sight has expanded this time line which is more than twice the amount of time it has currently taken for our product to be completedThe product is not
completed and almost seven months overdue at this timeThe *** fails to give updates and requires us to make contact with them for the updates that we do getIt is my believe that other products have been bought by other customers, built and closed out since we signed our own contract and agreement of terms in the *** to *** time of We can not get a date for completed product even though we are told the product only needs minor things before it is easyThere is always an excuse from the *** that puts the building *** in awkward positionsSocial media has been blocked so negative feedback is not allowed suppressing any freedom of speech and other forms of resolution to our issuesClearly a move designed to deceive future customersWe would like our house finished, in a timely manner and as described in the contractNot with us walking in and finding the product has items not installed as per our agreement, that cost us more money, forcing us to wait till god knows when for even the slightest updateA independent inspector was hired and he found the home had issue that where not up to code.To Whom it May Concern at The Revdex.com:*** and *** *** are clients of Texas Farmhouse Homes, LLC They have been under construction longer than our average client, but not longer than what is typical in Houston construction today, as defined in most publications, due the fact that times as many homes were sold last year than the previous, but we are working with the same sized labor base This, however, is not the main reason for the delay We have a detailed timeline (which has been reiterated to the *** family) showing that we were not even able to begin the home for months, as they had not provided the information to the appropriate municipalities so that we could begin This is a matter of record and there are detailed emails to this affect (between client and builder) After we began construction, the first phase was the foundation Within weeks of placing the concrete, my construction *** noticed that the concrete did not seem to be setting up properly I personally informed the clients and then contacted a structural engineer He later would determine that the company that supplied the concrete, supplied material that was not up to our standards, or the standards of our standard specifications (which are a matter or contract and good workmanship) I informed the clients that I would need to remove the foundation and start the process over again This is not a small undertaking and has many parts to deal with (insurance companies, to say the least) Between these two items alone, this took a long time (several months) We have email and text records of our communication with the *** family It is not that we did not communicate with them, it is that they did not like the answers that they received They also wanted to have me guarantee a completion date, which I never felt comfortable guaranteeing There are too many variables and things that could go wrong (like the foundation issue, which I had only ever seen one other time in years of construction) They took a very aggressive stance with my team and I had to interveneThe home is complete and signed off as complete by the *** family I am happy to provide whatever level of detail is needed here Please advise.*** ** ***Texas Farmhouse Homes, LLC***

Additional Information in response to this complaint. There were some errors in reporting from the client.  There was an inspection ordered by them which yielded a few code related items, which were dealt with immediately.  We encourage our [redacted] to hire outside inspectors if they have concerns, even though we have energy, code,  and structural inspections.  The list was triple checked, as haven had all code related items addressed.  As far as the Facebook comment goes, the client posted completely inaccurate statements and altogether lies on our social media page.  I was alerted to this by one of my other clients.  We shut down the option for this, as Mr. [redacted] continued to post untruth after untruth.  As a business owner, when someone lies about you, it matters not if it is a lie, the damage is out there.  For this reason, I exercised my right, as it is ** site, to remove the ability for anyone to post on my page.  This is a shame, because besides this person, ** page is filled with very positive feedback and compliments.  There was also statements about personal knowledge from Mr. [redacted] that his job is the oldest job we have.  This is not true.  We build custom homes.  Due to changes by [redacted] and size of the project, these can go for a very long time.  If I read properly, he also stated that the home was paid in full, which was incorrect at the time.  At this time, they have paid us in full.  While they have not fulfilled the requirements of their community, we have made contact with them to deliver keys and then let them deal with their issues with the community directly with their community.  Finally, there is a statement that we did not fulfill our contractual obligation to the owner.  This is completely false.  The only issue that may be considered as "not in compliance" could be the time factor.  There was never a contractual notation of time in their contract.  I'm unaware of any builder who places time constraints in the contract due to the many variables that can cause delays in construction (as noted in my previous response). We are a custom build on your land builder.  Everything is completely customized, then engineered, and then built in the field.  With this level of customization, each project is 100% new.  We take pride in our work and in the fact that we do what is right; always.  As I mentioned, I am available to conference or follow up if that is required.Sincerely, [redacted]Texas Farmhouse Homes, LLC[redacted]
