I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***0, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.I tried to go online to post a resolution but I was not able to figure out how to do itAll it showed me was the text of my
complaint, the status and a message that there was no action required of me at the present.I want to inform you that we drove out to Texas Golf Cars with our trailer and requested the return of our cart, even though it has not been fixedI had left messages with them earlier telling them we were comingIt appears that your letter with my complaint had a positive effectAlthough they still did not return our calls or communicate with us in any way, when we arrived our *** ETV was parked outsideThey were friendly and helped us load the cart onto the back of my trailerWe had to pay for the parts they had installed, which they insisted were valid because the old parts were not workingI knew for a fact that one of the rear light fixtures was broken so I was ok with paying for that oneHe also said the transducer was blown and had to be replacedHowever, replacing it did not fix the problem of the lights and wipers not workingHe said he was not charging us about nine hours of labor for replacing the parts or for his other work trying to fix the problemHe claimed that he had called us multiple times, but I told him I had looked at our *** phone records prior to coming for the cart and there had been no callsHe dropped that claim promptly.So I paid for the parts and left, and we have our cart back in essentially the same condition as when I dropped it off for the electrical repairs over months agoIt has some new parts, and he gave me the old partsMy assessment of Texas Golf Cars is that they are essentially well-meaning but sorely lacking in basic communication and customer service skillsThey had worked on my cart before, so I had thought they were okThey seem capable of fixing normal, simple problems with electric carsBut clearly when faced with a difficult problem they push it to the back of their work schedule and don't talk to the customer. I had stated in my complaint that I would accept a resolution of them returning our cart in the original working order and not have to pay for anything they did that did not fix the problemI got half of what I wantedBut I have my cart back and consider this issue resolved.
