Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint The lies they tellThe hard drive they said they scanned my hard drive for any problems, which I doubt they didBecause each time I asked them about it, they said it was fineThe business calls me the third time telling me it was a small sector that is hard to detect that proved to be faulty on the hard driveI've refused to pick it up because this case is yet to be resolved Regards,

Revdex.com: The guy is a scam artist and very good apparently, I don't have to say much for you all to observe that this guy is a criminal I feel like a fool for falling under his traps, I recently called him and a left a sincere message to try to resolve this and get my computer back, and all I got back from him was a text from him to be another owner and saying that the previous owner had a stroke and claimed that he lives in another stateCome on, I wish this guy can man up and talk to me like a grown man and not keep my computer for randomYes randomI was going to let this go but after being a nice guy on the phone message I sent then getting an aggressive text message back that just pulled me over the edgeRather than trying to get my property back I rather spend my time exposing him for what he is worthGood luck to you Mr different names I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint [Provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution.] Regards,

[redacted] His hard drive was found the last time he brought in was found to be bad. We told him this and he agreed to have It it replaced. We waved all labor costs and just charged him for the hard drive which came to 75.00. He has refused to pick it up. We have a 30 day policy that requires all customers to pick up merchandise.we consider his case closed. ***

*** is not being completely honest in his story. *** had tons of viruses and issues due to his surfing habits and download habits. We removed all, then downgraded it to *** * per his request. We spent hours on his machine and only charged him an hour labor
/>
He brought it back almost two month later and his hard drive was crashed. We replaced his hard drive, transferred all his data and spent yet another hours on it. Even though the day warranty period was up, I waived all LABOR and only charged him for the cost of a hard drive at our cost, meaning what I personally paid for the hard drive
We have been in constant communication with him and have called him over times the last two months. He has always swore at us and said he ain't paying
We feel we went far and above to please ***. To be honest, this complaint is the first time I even knew he couldn't afford the **for the hard drive being that he approved the work
Thanks

[redacted] brought in a [redacted] all in one that he purchased preowned from an [redacted] user.  The [redacted] we got never worked from the beginning.  He came in originally for a hard drive replacement as the hard drive didn't work. We then noticed that the issue with the hard drive was the logic board had two blown circuits that connect the [redacted] connector to the hard drive.  We at our cost bought a logic board for 387.00. After installing the logic board we noticed that the power supply didn't work as it was not putting out enough watts to run the new [redacted].  Out of our pocket, we purchased a power supply for him and waived the charges due to the length of service it was taking. Finally able to boot it up, we notice that the back light was out and thus the screen was dim.  At that time we asked [redacted] to come in so we can show him the receipts of all the items we have purchased to make this situation right.  According to our receptionist, he was rude and stated that he would come in at his convenience.  Mr. [redacted] was very patient.  He was a previous customer.  I do feel for him, that he got a bad [redacted]hine on [redacted], but once again, we feel like we did everything to make this right even spending over 500.00 in parts and 280 in labor all which were waived.  I also believe communication was an issue as Mr. [redacted] typically called me or texted me personally.  I had more than one location at the time and was always between our shops and instructed him to contact the [redacted] manager to work out the details on his [redacted]. We are willing to finish the repair, however we haven't heard from Mr. [redacted]. [redacted]

The lies they tell. The hard drive they said they scanned my hard drive for any problems, which I doubt they did. Because each time I asked them about it, they said it was fine. The business calls me the third time telling me it was a small sector that is hard to detect that proved to be faulty on the hard drive. I've refused to pick it up because this case is yet to be resolved.
Regards,

we have a 30 day policy firmly printed on any receipt. Why would we hold a computer for a year in a half.  If this is who we think it is, he isn't telling the truth. The only person we recall ever asking us to hold a computer past the 30 days was someone who could not afford the repairs of an...

aging computer. He continued to always say he was moving or he didn't have the money. On top of that we have never received a call from anyone named [redacted]. If we don't answer our phone systems offer voice mail which is recorded and forwarded to is by email. On top of that, we haven't been on [redacted] in 5 years.
We tell and call everyone even though it's printed on the invoice that they need to pick up their computer or pay a 35.00 storage fee.
we record every incoming and outgoing call. So either this is another fake review or [redacted] has his facts wrong.  Posting a fake review with the Revdex.com is fraud and libel and we will take further actions as needed.

The guy is a scam artist and very good apparently, I don't have to say much for you all to observe that this guy is a criminal.  I feel like a fool for falling under his traps, I recently called him and a left a sincere message to try to resolve this and get my computer back, and all I got back from him was a text from him to be another owner and saying that the previous owner had a stroke and claimed that he lives in another state. Come on, I wish this guy can man up and talk to me like a grown man and not keep my computer for random. Yes random. I was going to let this go but after being a nice guy on the phone message I sent then getting an aggressive text message back that just pulled me over the edge. Rather than trying to get my property back I rather spend my time exposing him for what he is worth. Good luck to you Mr 10 different names.

From: [redacted] [mailto:[redacted]] Sent: Friday, December 26, 2014 1:53 AMTo: [redacted]Subject: [redacted] Ms. [redacted] did write a check for 535.49.  However what she didn't tell you was that 126.00 of this was for parts which she received and 170.00 of this was for labor performed before she agreed to our service contract.  This left a balance of 239.49 which is the cost of a service contract plus tax. After the contract we spent 5 hours cleaning her computer onsite and remotely.  One of the computers turned out to be her neighbors, which would of violated the contract at the time because it only covers one pc.  However, [redacted] had been a previous customer and always was friendly. So we overlooked the fact that it was her neighbors. We cleaned both the computer of malware and viruses.  When we left, they both worked.  We recommended a different antivirus than [redacted] as it was free and didn't always protect from malware.  She continued to use [redacted].  About a month later she called and we set up a remote job.  Once again we cleaned it. She then said she wanted to cancel the contract and was unhappy.  The service contract states that we will provide remote cleaning once a month.  We went above this.  Please see attached remote log of times and dates we provided support. Between the two computers one which was hers and the others a neighbor we spent 5 hours on the two cleaning onsite and 2 hours remotely.  We typically charge 85.00 an hour for onsite and 65.00 remotely.  Since she was canceling a contract we calculated the total billable amount was 555.00.  At that amount there wouldn't be a refund. She signed up for a contract in July, but didn't have a problem until the end of September beginning in October. We provided the service for two months.  We can provide the following solution.  We will be happy to resume the contact with us adding 2 months for the time not preformed or a refund of 100.00.  We can't control the users surfing habits nor what they download of the net and peer to peer networks such as [redacted] which is used to download movies and music.  [redacted] was found on her computer and is a known gateway for viruses and malware.  We can only suggest what antivirus and antimalware programs to use.  We installed [redacted] on her laptop and instructed her on how she can keep her pc clean. We are sorry she feels like she was taken advantage of and hope one of our solutions will work. Texas PC Geeks
