[redacted] I completed a custom home for [redacted] and [redacted] thru Amegy bank on April 1st, there was no problems or issues, other than a few minor touch ups and adjustments, which I addressed promptly, I did not keep a time frame as I was very busy with other projects and personal priorities, I have alway's accepted and been available by phone for the [redacted] Appxmonth plus there was speratic high wind storms with heavy rain, that pushed built up water across a 10' porch to a level slightly over the 1/2" finished floor height, I inspected with a angled mirror beneath the siding to the 2Xtreated plate for penetrations and a break in the Dow foam plate seal, I did find a joint splice that the foam had shrunk or had been slid back at the Laundry room wall, and sealed the joint and the entire wall with waterproof siliconized caulk on August 4th mon., after speaking with [redacted] Sunday evening August 3rd, I apologized to him that I was on a family vacation since July 25th, and had spoke to him several times before, I think last before I left appxJuly 23rd and he asked what kind of caulk to buy, I told him I am reimbursing him, but I would buy it Every, homeowner I have built for is listed with phone numbers on a referall sheet that I give all new jobs, and all will tell you that they are very pleased that they chose me, and have heard many horror stories of other builders, I get calls many years later if there is a problem or question, long after the warranty, and as soon as I can, help them at no cost, " I dont have to" but I do because I do what I say and take care of all my past builds, "No" other builders do thisIn regard to the Statements, Home was built correct by contractors, minor issues are part of any new home, none are not perfect as we think we are, call me if there is something, I am sorry that I did not come Immediately, There is " NO " chance of mold, as the water would have to rise another 1/2" for moisture to reach insulation, that could not happen! In reference to his letter, we had started placing calls about water coming under our back door in June After several calls about that problem, he came out and caulked the under side of the door threshold At that time, I had expressed my concern about the outside of the entire house needing to be caulked because when the wind blows, the sheetrock dust blows from under the walls in several areas At that point, he told me he would be back to caulk the entire house He never showed up to do soAfter the major water leak on July 4th, we placed two calls to him about this new problem He never came out even after we were told he was Only after we placed the complaint, he finally came out and caulked the main area of concern We have been told that, with an unknown time frame, he will eventually come back to caulk the entire house exterior Hopefully we do not have anymore leaks in the mean time.
