Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.Yea I received it on march 27th. Thank you for the follow up.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: Although [redacted] says that he has mailed a check to me, it has been 4 days and I still have not received it.  It is a 30 minute drive from my address and should not take 4 days for delivery unless, of course, it wasn't mailed on March 20, 2017 as stated in the business's response.  That is one inaccuracy in the statement.  I did not call [redacted] two weeks ago.  I emailed him a letter requesting a refund of the $300 deposit on February 24th.  Then out of no where on March 9, I received an email from [redacted] stating that he had sold the trailer and would be returning the $300 deposit.  When I called on Monday, 3-20-17, he told me he would put the check in the mail.  I was expecting it within a day and maybe two but waiting 4 days, now I am running the chance of this case being closed before receiving my deposit from Mr. [redacted].  As to the detailed response from Kristina Elrod, please refer to the attached letter originally written concerning this issue.  I guess it's a case of just who do you believe.  [redacted] mentions that the trailer was "finished in the specified time frame.  The date of completion was February 22nd."  However, "completion date" and "delivery date" are not the same.  If the trailer was completed on Feb. 22nd, then it still had to be delivered to the place of business in Haltom City.  Please read attachment for my account concerning this issue.   Bottom line, it seems that this business does not demonstrate honesty and integrity in their business practices.  All I want is my money back.
Regards,
[redacted]

Mr. [redacted] called me two weeks ago and I informed him at that time that we had sold the trailer, and as soon as that customer's check cleared our bank that I would refund his $ 300.   Last week I was out several days due to medical treatment, I wrote the check out to him on March 13th,...

however I failed to mail it to him.  Yesterday, Monday March 20, Mr. [redacted] called me again asking about his refund - I informed him that I had not mailed it, but would put the check in the mail, which I did.  Further, we went above and beyond with Mr. [redacted] trying to get his trailer done as early as we possibly could.  We are at the mercy of what the factory can accomplish, and unfortunately, they could not meet the earlier ready date that Mr. [redacted] had requested.   Attached is a detailed response prepared by [redacted] as to her activities with Mr. [redacted].  We hope this will clarify this situation, and this uncalled for claim that Mr. [redacted] has made. Best Regards,  [redacted]Texas Trailer Man[redacted], Tx 76117[redacted] To Whom it May Concern March 21, 2017                  Response by Kristina Elrod to complaint filed by Cole [redacted] on 2/27/2017              Mr. [redacted] First called about a trailer early January 2017.   Spoke to me, Kristina Elrod, About the purchase of a 102 Ironworks Challenger, or a 2017 TTM Chariot Trailer. Both are flatbed, car haulers.    On January 16th Mc Mceen Called with specifications about a Challenger trailer that he had found for sale, located in Oklahoma.  He asked if we could match those specifications on a Chariot Trailer, and was quoted a comparable price    On the 25th of January Mr. [redacted] came in to Texas Trailer Man to make a deposit on the trailer which I had quoted.   Several times I told Mr. [redacted] that the trailer had an estimated build time of 3-4 weeks to be built.  The trailer order was sent on the 26th and confirmed on the 27th.  With an estimated completion date of February 17-Febuary 24th.   Mr. [redacted] made a 300 deposit and informed us that he had been preapproved for financing at Sheffield Financial.     I personally spoke to Mr. [redacted] several times after the order was sent.  Mr [redacted], expressed a concern about the estimated date of completion, and gave me his preapproval order number with Sheffield. When calling Sheffield, I was informed that Mr. [redacted] had been approved for financing on the 16th of January.   A full 10 days before he came in to order the trailer.               Sheffield financing is only good from 30 days of date of approval, after 30 days all applications must be approved again.   I called Mr. [redacted] and spoke to him about this, he stated it should be fine. At this time, I told Mr. [redacted] that I did not think there was anyway the trailer could be completed by February the 16th.   I told him that I would call our representative at the Trailer factory and see if trailer could be rushed.  This was Thursday February 11th      Mr. [redacted] re-applied through Sheffield Financial after the 16th of February, and his credit was denied.   We were notified by both Sheffield Financial and Mr [redacted] the week of February 20th.     When Mr. [redacted] called about refunding his deposit, I told Mr [redacted] that I would get with Mr [redacted] on his refund.  I also stated that he needed to understand that we had special ordered a trailer at his request with specifications that would make the trailer more difficult to sell, and that the trailer was finished out to the point that we could not stop the production or change anything.    The following week when speaking to Mr. [redacted], I informed him the trailer was completed and we were arranging delivery to us. The trailer was finished in the specified time frame. The date of completion was February 22nd.     That same day Mr [redacted] informed me he was filing a complaint and issuing a letter to Mr [redacted], the owner of the company.  I told him I understood his complaint and I would speak to Mr [redacted], but once again he had to understand that the trailer was ordered in good faith and we were left with a specialty built trailer.   We are a venue and not a manufacturer. We cannot control build times.  All dates of completions are estimates and Mr [redacted] was made fully aware that there could be delays in production.   Trailer was completed in the time frame promised to Mr [redacted].  It was Mr [redacted] who was unable to follow through with the sale.
