Mrs*** *** had contracted us to do snow removal at her house and her fathers house at that time we went ahead and collected a check up front which we normally do we went to the bank to deposit it at that time the bank said there would be a hold for the fundsAt that time I contacted ***
again about this matter so she wrote a new check for the the same amount to me that check had cashed a few days later she contacted me regarding her check that she had no ideas that she would get a charge for a canceled check at this time she was vary upset and wanted to discontinue service at that time we had not breached the contractWe have paid her back some of the money that is suppose to be refunded and are in contact with her to make things right

For your reference, I want to clarify that I wrote the first check as requested to "Marek Landscaping"There were sufficient funds for this check! AT THE REQUEST OF *** ***, I rewrote the check to his name directly and held payment on the first check to the landscaping companyI had to pay the bank for holding payment on the check and then I received a bill from the landscape company because I held payment On the first check I contacted the landscape company and told them this was requested of me by *** and I was told by a women who said she was ***'s mom that she was just helping him out and that I would have to take up the whole thing with ***I kept trying to contact *** and there were issuesI asked what bank he went to and he did not remember, etcI have all the texts about the conversation that ensued There was never insufficient fundsBecause this was turning into such a bizarre situation, I wanted termination of the contract since I was concerned about the service I would receive. It is true I have had an initial payment of toward the *** told me he thought it was only I have the cancelled check and told him to review his recordsHe still owes me I too want a friendly closure to this entire situationI am waiting for the remainder of the returned payment *** tells me he has reviewed his records. These are the details of the interaction I do not understand why the check was asked to be rewritten; why I had to cancel the first check rather then just giving it back to me in exchange for the second; what the difference was I writing to th landscape company but they billed me for the held check and took me off THEIR books for snow removalAll very suspect.Regards,
