I talked with the customer at the time of the estimate and told her that we are not responsible for damage to any underground pipes or wires during stump grinding I also told the customer that if we do damage any pipes we can fix them for an extra charge or she could call an irrigation company to fix the pipesDuring the grinding of a stump we broke a pipeWe charged her $to fix the pipeThe customer approved the repair after it was completed The customer called about ten days later and told me she was having an irrigation ploblemI came and talked with her about the problem and told her she should call an irrigation company since my repair was completed and she approved it and call me after she had talked with the irrigation company and she found out what the problem was.The customer never called me back after she had the irrigation company come out I assumed that the customer had an irrigation company come out and they must have found a different problem unrelated to our servicesI did not know there was a problem until I received an email from the Revdex.com informing me of the situtationI talked with the irrigation company after I found out about the complaint and they told me that there were some wires damaged aswell as the pipe we repairedThe pipe repair I completed was done wellThey only had to repair some wiresI saw no wires at the time that we repaired the pipeIf I would have seen any damaged wires I would have told the customer to call an irrigation company in the beginning To insure my company does not have this misunderstanding in the future I am writing on all contracts that involve stump grinding the we are not responsible for and pipes or wires damaged during stump grinding since we cannot see underground The customer must sign off on the contract or we will not perform any stump grinding

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: Brian's Tree Service did break the sprinkler pipe. I could have waited for the sprinkler company I use all the time, but I let [redacted] fix the pipe that he broke for $40.00. If I break something and I am at fault, I would fix it and not charge someone for something that I broke. When he broke the pipe, the wires operate that station are located under the pipe his workers hit. To fix the wires for the station, I had to call the sprinkler company that I use for repairs which cost $105.00. All of these cost are due to the fault of Brian's Tree Service. How many other people does he charge for what his workers break? Are there any honest people in this world?
Regards,
[redacted]

company to fix the pipes. During the grinding of a stump we broke a pipe. We charged her $40.00 to fix the pipe. The customer approved the repair after it was completed.  The customer called about ten days later and told me she was having an irrigation ploblem. I came and talked with her about the problem and told her she should call an irrigation company since my repair was completed and she approved it and call me after she had talked with the irrigation company and she found out what the problem was.The customer never called me back after she had the irrigation company come out.  I assumed that the customer had an irrigation company come out and they must have found a different problem unrelated to our services. I did not know there was a problem until I received an email from the Revdex.com informing me of the situtation. I talked with the irrigation company after I found out about the complaint and they told me that there were some wires damaged aswell as the pipe we repaired. The pipe repair I completed was done well. They only had to repair some wires. I saw no wires at the time that we repaired the pipe. If I would have seen any damaged wires I would have told the customer to call an irrigation company in the beginning.  To insure my company does not have this misunderstanding in the future I am writing on all contracts that involve stump grinding the we are not responsible for and pipes or wires damaged during stump grinding since we cannot see underground.  The customer must sign off on the contract or we will not perform any stump grinding.
