I took my car to owens around april I had a problem with the guy that hit me insurance paying the total amount due for repairs on my vehicle so I got my insurance involved both insurance ended up paying which were an overpayment to Owens its been three months and I have been and both insurance companies been trying to get owens to repay the money that were over paid I been going to owens for month
S each time *** tells me a lie about accounting and her boss signing the check I dont want the check just trying to get them to pay insurance so I can collect my deminish value from insurance company before march the two insurance have contacted owens also they keep lying about putting in mail please help

I don't even know where to begin Let's start with the fact that they had my car from December 2, until February 24, causing me to pay for a rental car at $30/day for over weeks They took a $6,repair and because I had insurance companies involved managed to bump it up to $12, I should have had a total of $1,out of my pocket ended up paying another $1,on top of thatHeld my car hostage until I signed a "Budget repair" form agreeing to less than standard repairs - Only Safety repairs were a guarantee with this planNo communication - blaming the insurance company because they are penalizing me - Even saying that my deductible was something that the insurance should have waived Supposedly they have a lifetime warranty on all of their work So, the paint job is horrible with pitting and in addition they dented my vehicle in a location that was not damaged and lost parts from the interior I have been trying since February 25th to get these replaced and in typical Owens fashion - "It's under Review" "The part will be here this week" no phone call about that - Oh now "the parts will be here this Friday" NEVER I repeat NEVER would I bring my vehicle again to these unethical people for repairs
3/7/Received a text from Devon last night telling me I was irrational - This is how they treat their customer that just generated $12,for their business

Owens collected twice on the same repair form both myself personally and my insurance company Refused to refund me
A suplemental payment was needed for Owens to release my vehicle after repairs were completed They demanded I pay the additional amount personally and have my insurance compensate me for the extra amount knowing good and well the insurance company had already sent them a check for the additional amount I have proof of deposits from my personal account and Progressive provided proof of deposit from their check for the exact same amount They got paid twice for the same repair I attempted to resolve this with probably phone calls, letters, emails, threaten to sue, and had Progressive insurance do the same No responses No call backs Complete lack of cooperation

Took there on Sept They kept it for monthsStole all the good parts, damaged further, left the motor exposed, made large hole in hood, when asked to release car, they refused, charged me and insurance company an extradinary amount for storage, promised to deliver car to my home but, never did, called insurance company months later and insurance totaled my car Went to 19th judicary court and found out that since 2010....there are law suits ...similar to our case I had to buy all the parts that they kept or sold....to have my car repaired It is still being repaired This guy, *** ***, is a crook and has been doing this for the last to years His silent partner is an attorney that is bailing him out Everytime Please ....join us in putting him out of business If you have had a similar experience with him....please call the Attorney General's Office or go on line and make a complaint Attorney General's office wants more fuel to stop this crook Thank you for your input *** and *** *** I may be reached at ***@yahoo.com

Owens did not supply Liberty Mutual required documentation during recent repair that resulted in me paying excess rental car charges of $
On 4-7-is was charged $on my credit card for excess rental car charges due to Owen's not supplying Liberty Mutual the proper documentation needed to pay for the delays *** in front office is not allowing me to contact *** ***, Owner, or anyone else above her Had a conference call scheduled this morning and *** cancelled because she needed to locate the file This is after she apparently had been calling "every day" for the last several months Interesting how that works I need resolution on this because I, and many more according to the reviews on the internet, have experienced similar situations It is the right thing to do

This company is engaged in illegal business practice where they use their customers to try to get as much money from insurance companies as possibleIn March 2017, I took my vehicle to Owens Collision Shop for repairs after I was involved in an accidentAs of today, July 20, 2017, my car is still incompleteThey did not order the correct parts when they received checks from the insurance company and lied for months about when the vehicle would be readyThey claimed that the insurance company did not pay enough for the repair (over $9,000) and made me sign for a "budget repair." I came to them with the estimate my old shop had given me and asked if they could beat this price and would be willing to service my vehicle*** *** said he would be more than happy to service my vehicle but the parts would take a little time and they would have to remove my motor to work on itI completely understoodBrads continual correspondents with me over the telephone has been nothing but professional and courteousHe called to let me know what all the parts would cost before the services were even rendered, so there was no surprises on my bill when it came time to pay at the completion of the jobNot only did Owens Collision and Automotive Service Center do what they said they would do, but they were also able to save me a couple hundred bucks !!! It feels good to know there are still service departments out there that value the customer and are willing to work with themNow they will always have my business, because they gained my respect and trust

This is an unscrupulous business that performs unauthorized repair to vehicles and holds the vehicle hostage based on their questionable contract

Dishonest business processes, advertisement, poor service quality, extremely long repair time
Buyer beware Owens will respond to this and other complaints with whatever response they chose to keep an A+ rating That's how this works They are an F- if that's even possible They do not work with your insurance on your behalf They do not return phone calls The repair work is below average quality They will take way longer than they say Your car is basically held hostage until they get the full amount of what their repair estimate is even if it's not legitimized by your insurance Do not sign their so called authorization agreement, which in the end basically relinquishes all your rights as a consumer The details of my story are way too long to dictate, but if you read this and the other complaints I hope that it will help one person seek other options for repair
