Review: Mover did not show up on date agreed to for which a days pay was lost.

Mover came the following day, an hour late and with a truck that was too small.

Mover offered to reduce the fee which I agreed to.

That fee turned out to be $1100 although I also paid the building a $150 late fee and a $65 fee for providing masonite boards because mover did not bring enough of them.

Mover damaged several valuable items (photos available) and lost a valuable travertine marble base from a table purchased at [redacted].

When my numerous phone messages were ignored, I stopped the $1100 check I had paid.

A week later, when Mover learned of the check stopping, my messages were finally returned. I was told that the base had been located and secured.

After negotiation, I agreed to give a new $1100 check upon delivery of the base.

Mover agreed to to this and agreed to assist in my filing of an insurance claim.

That was two weeks ago and I have left a message every business day since then and have not received a response.Desired Settlement: I want our travertine marble base delivered and assistance in preparing an insurance claim.

I will hand over a check for $1100 upon delivery of the base.
