-Satisfaction is not always possible unfortunetly when understanding of a situation and [redacted] of ones individual problems must come first. We are not threatening to take [redacted] to court because we want to go that route but we do take our reputation seriously and if we are not allowed on the property and are subjected to others opinions we will take legal action against such claims to prove our workmanship against such false claims.....This is the [redacted] of TH responding to this message....[redacted] is stating this was inspected by roofers and an ispector who all stated the roof needed 3 layers not 1????This is a code violation and we will be reaching out to her local inspectors office this week to see if this statement was true...As far as "other roofers" all we asked was to see their licsense info and credentials proving their worthiness of making such statements. It seems clear to me from her statements that this is a structural issue which has nothing to do with her roofing system. Also maintenance and upkeep of ones property is such individuals responsibilty...Snow loads can cause a structure to callapse if not tended to...Also this type of roof requires sealing to keep warranties which was never kept up with. We understand [redacted]s frustration and we still want to help in this situation but taking the advise of other people is not always the best answer even if it sounds good. Torch Down Bitumen is a cheaper option but requires upkeep. We have made attempts to resolve this issue and we are leaving the door still open since this is why we are in business. You are not the first person in your shoes and we have earned the trust from all our customers but you must first trust us so we can see this through and I personally promise that if you follow all our advise these issues will not continue to happen.-First this roof must be maintained(Snow,Leaf & debris removal)-2nd this roof must be sealed as instructed.-3rd Siding, Windows & Gutters must be cleaned and properly maintained. With all this stated roofs are not waterproof they are only water sheding....also if there is structural issues that is not taken care of the seams of this roof can split due to the stress of stretching...Please call us immidiatley so we can resolve this. [redacted] I am always here and you can call or stop by anytime to resolve this problem.Enjoy your day,[redacted]

The business has responded.  Please see below:[redacted], the sales rep who sold her the job and who has been dealing with her for some while now.  "In the fall I met with [redacted] because she was having issues with leaks in her home. The roof was part of the issue but so was the...

siding/fascia/soffit/gutters. I gave her a proposal for all the work needed to preformed. Due to fiances she chose only the roof project and she also went with the cheaper roofing system. After making payment arrangements with her to help with her budget, her check bounced and payments were dragged out to us for months. She purchased a 10 year roofing system that was to be sealed after the first year. I received a call from her two years later in the winter with a complaint the roof was leaking. I set a appointment to meet her which she rescheduled on me twice. I finally inspected the roof and explained again the issues with siding and the fascia and that a roof leak would occur almost every time it rains and Hurricane type storms (we had two in three years) drive rain side ways which siding not installed properly or not functioning correctly will also let water in under the roof line. Again she could not afford the siding and after two more inspections by my office from the [redacted] and [redacted] of the company she chose only to seal her roof that should have been done any way  the year before. After speaking with [redacted] again several weeks ago I had the lead our [redacted] try three different times to schedule the inspection because most homes in New York are experiencing Ice damning and until I received the complaint the other day by her she has not responded to any of our messages. In the complaint written by [redacted] she mentions a building inspectors inspection of the her roof and that it was not installed correctly which is causing the roof to sink. In response to that statement; That would be a structural issue and if the building department inspected a roof that we installed in correctly we would have been contacted. In her parting comments about adding two more layers. That would also be a code violation in any town/village/municipal in our area. We have a outstanding reputation for workmanship and customer service and its very disappointing to read a complaint that is not truthful or accurate."

Review: When I used them in December 2011 to redo my roof, they seemed very professional. The y promised a good job with a ten year warranty on the torch down roof. The roof began leaking in 2013 at the end of the year and they said it was because I should have resealed it the first year after doing the roof which I had not done. They then re sealed the roof in 2013 I It is now leaking again in 2015. I have had a building inspector and two other contractors look at the roof. They showed me that the roof is actually sinking in and that not enough roofing materials were used. T H roofing asserts I need new siding which would cost over 10,000. Everyone who has looked at it states it is the roof itself, ( not enough materials used) that is causing the continual leakage. And with all other estimates on siding I have gotten none are more than 8000. Though I have called them this time around, they initially called me back. I called them the next week and they have since not returned the all (3 weeks now), though I was told the information would be left on the person in charges desk. I am very disappointed at this point.Desired Settlement: That they would add two extra layers which is what I was told is needed and they will not charge additional monies.
