I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that the response would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.[The response provided by the business was a 'text book' attempt to silence the matter with information, but I will not let it go quietlyLet me provide a little more detail, I'm a movie director - I was in town for several months working on a projectI ordered (take out and delivery) from Thai Cafe more than times - I've attached a document that included the purchases made from my debit card, I wish I'd kept the cash receipts because I would include those here to, but for all intent and purpose you can see I was very much a supporter of this business way before this Owner came into the picture! As for the two disputed purchases; the first, I was told I would surely receive delivery between 45-minutes, I was adamant on this detail because I had a prior engagement plannedI called after an hour and minutes and the owner [whose name I was never provided, and now only know because of this required response] proceeded to bark at me immediately, before I was able to request a refund I was given a negative monologue from her as to why I was being 'inconsiderate by placing the call'Somehow in between her yelling I did in fact request a refund because of the untimeliness and miscommunication from her staffAfter trying to resolve the issue for almost minutes, the driver arrivedI was late for my meeting, and completely flabbergasted by this "business owner interested in serving good service to the community", so I told her I had to go and hung up the phoneAs for the second (and last) visit on record, you can see (from the attached document of debit card purchases) was some time after the first disputeWhy? There aren't many thai food vendors in Indianapolis - I live in Atlanta and Los Angeles, and I love thai food! I ordered again because I sincerely believed I would not have another issue, and I really enjoyed the food (as my many purchases indicate)But ordering from Thai Cafe again was a very bad ideaWhen the food was delivered, and it was delivered timely, it had onions and CHICKEN included; I ordered just shrimp as a meatIn addition, the spicy level was not barely - I was unable to eat more than two bitesI called, and was told the Manager wasn't available, after moments of speaking with "someone" about the issue at hand the Owner gets on the phone and begins to bark at me again (I couldn't even state the issue), she immediately began to assume the issue without listening to me "the customer", and told me she remembered meDoes that mean my food was made wrong in spite? Needless to say, I didn't eat because I had no comfort level after that comment.I couldn't resolve the matter, because she doesn't listenOthers have indicated the same thing, I've included a Google Review of someone making the same statement (attached called "Another Bad Remark_Google Review).I've provided facts, she's writing an unverifiable remarkIf I was suing her, what ground would her claims stand on? I want my money back!And to her statement about "bullying small businesses"no, unfortunately because you are a small business you cannot hide your poor customer service behind the red tape "big businesses" are accustomed toAs a small business it is your responsibility to provided extraordinary customer service "despite your attempt to believe you already are"Be clear, this isn't bullying, this is someone who liked your food extremely disappointed and NOT allowing you to continue to behave as if you're an intern with a bad attitudeI want my money back!Have a great day!]

My name is Vipa, the owner of Thai Café. Mr. [redacted] had ordered delivery with us twice.  The first time when he ordered for delivery, we told him it was going to take about an hour. When Mr. [redacted] called us and asked to speak with the owner. He asked me where his order and what my...

policy on delivery was. I told him that we didn’t have a written policy only a verbal estimated time and that time depends on how busy we are in the kitchen and your location. He responded by saying it was ‘too long and wants free food’. I said no told him if he didn’t want the food I was going to call the delivery person to bring the food back.  Within 5 mins, Mr. [redacted] calls, ‘I got the food and I want a refund’, he demanded.  He indicated the reason was because delivery took too long.  I said that since he had my food, I needed to charge him for it and he said to me ‘Hey! Vipa, k... m. a..’ followed by hanging up the phone. The second time, about a week later, he called to order for delivery around 7 pm.  He wanted shrimp fried rice with no onion. Delivery was there within the time told, about 30 minutes.  He called us back around 9:30pm as we were closing the store and requested a refund because ‘the food is bad’.  I went back to the record to see what was ordered and at the time I recognized the phone number that belonged to Mr. [redacted]. I asked him ‘if you don’t like my food why do you keep ordering and complaining’.  He insists that he wanted his money back. I said to Mr. [redacted] when you purchase merchandise from a department store and dissatisfied with it then you can return it for your money back.  He hangs up on me. 
Why is that people like to bully small businesses. We are trying to make a living by providing good food to the community with the best that we can.
