After reviewing the issue again with Andy (Owner), Tony (Warehouse Manager), Jeff (Delivery), Pablo (Delivery) and Jerry (Warehouse Assistant) - We are holding firm in our statement on all issues with this complaint. Sincerely, That Furniture Outlet

I am rejecting this response because: The delivery guys damaged the wall and knew about it They instructed my wife sign off on the paperwork then call that Furniture store to file a claim which is exactly what we did That Furniture Store has more than review on social media which suggests that the delivery team isn't a careful as the responses email leads one to believe Yelp will confirmThe owner did allow us to take a chair to pick the color of the table, this was a nice touch. Upon arriving home on the evening, we place the order, my wife and I realized that the couch wouldn't fit as planned in the living room. I called and spoke to a sales person (man) who "canceled" the order for the living room furniture over the phone. He asked when we would be back to pick out different items? I replied after the holidays, at this point we were planning to order additional furniture. I asked for a copy of the cancellation and he explained that the delivery team would provide the final invoice at the time of delivery The delivery men arrived and attempted to deliver the canceled furniture, all items were kept on the truck. Upon delivery of the table, the men damaged our living room wall, wore their shoes in our home, and left the door open. My wife asked the men to close the door but didn't feel comfortable engaging the men as they were intimidating The term intimidating does not imply race and until I saw this response I did not know the delivery men wereHispanic andAfrican American, I just know how my wife felt. I also know that she did what she was instructed to do by the delivery men

[redacted] also canceled part of the order when we had it out for delivery. [redacted] posted a terrible...

review on a social media site (which had a very racially biased comment on it that the delivery team was very intimidating (they are African American & Hispanic respectively)). The delivery team is very professional and courteous with many hundreds of successful deliveries working for us. They have a great track record of deliveries without damage because they take extraordinary diligence to prevent damage. When on a very few occasions there have been any amount of damage - they always inform of the situation right away. They gave their very respected word to us that they did not cause any damage.   Also, we have very high standards, procedures and precautions to make sure that items would never be delivered in the conditions stated by the [redacted]s. The customer signs off that the furniture was delivered in satisfactory condition - not that is was just delivered. That is why the [redacted]’s claim they signed that the furniture was delivered damaged is preposterous. Also, the [redacted]’s have been refunded the for their canceled order for the Albany Furniture Sofa, Storage Ottoman and two chairs. They have not been refunded for the dining table and chairs because they are still in possession of them.
