In response to the original complaint from [redacted] : As Andy (the store owner) & I mentioned to you, Andy went out of his way to let [redacted] take two chairs home to make sure the color would match [redacted] also canceled part of the order when we had it out for delivery [redacted] posted a terrible review on a social media site (which had a very racially biased comment on it that the delivery team was very intimidating (they are African American & Hispanic respectively))The delivery team is very professional and courteous with many hundreds of successful deliveries working for usThey have a great track record of deliveries without damage because they take extraordinary diligence to prevent damageWhen on a very few occasions there have been any amount of damage - they always inform of the situation right awayThey gave their very respected word to us that they did not cause any damage Also, we have very high standards, procedures and precautions to make sure that items would never be delivered in the conditions stated by the [redacted] sThe customer signs off that the furniture was delivered in satisfactory condition - not that is was just deliveredThat is why the [redacted] ’s claim they signed that the furniture was delivered damaged is preposterousAlso, the [redacted] ’s have been refunded the for their canceled order for the Albany Furniture Sofa, Storage Ottoman and two chairsThey have not been refunded for the dining table and chairs because they are still in possession of themWe can not refund customers for damage that they caused Sincerely, Ira [redacted] That Furniture Outlet Project Manager
