Review: I hired the Home Depot Installed Services to replace my siding and replace sliding glass patio doors. The siding is now coming off in a place, the siding was not correctly installed and as a result I am having water leaks inside the house, the Tyvek which is supposed to be under the siding was installed incorrectly and in other areas not at all. The siding is lumpy and wavy is areas due to the installer not removing nails from the previous siding, and then installing the new siding over the nails, the caulking around all the windows and doors is already peeling off. he water infilration into the house is causing significant water damage.

I have contacted Home depot numerous times, and they stall, or delay the repairs. I have been trying to resolve these issues for a while to no avail.Desired Settlement: At this point in time after dealing with the Home Depot stralling or not performing the work, I want a refund.

Review: we ordered 3 replacement window on nov 9th 2012. they were installed about 6 weeks later. we can not close the window and they are out of balance. we called the salesman, [redacted] cell number [redacted] twice to advise him of this problem. he said the service dept would call us back in 2 days to set up a date for repair. a month went by and we call [redacted] back. he said he will check on it. no return call. we then called the service dept directly at [redacted] they said someone would call us in 2 days. now 2 weeks later no call. we sent [redacted] an email saying if we do not hear from him we will file a complaint with the Revdex.com. no response.Desired Settlement: I would like someone to come out and fix or replace my windows.

Review: On July 1, 2011, we signed a contract with the [redacted] (THD At-Home Services, Inc.) to replace nine (9) windows on the front side of our home. (We have all contract paperwork). They were to be replaced with "Argon & Low E3 Cardigan 366 glass" windows, and service was to include "all labor, materials, disposal and metal rips included." This was job #[redacted] at a total cost of $6,295.00. The windows were installed on July 22, 2011 by a team of installers for the [redacted] We believe the windows were not properly installed on this day. This is substantiated by the fact that we have had [redacted] of THD (who has always made a reasonable attempt to resolve the problems experienced) out to our home approximately a dozen times since then for numerous problems with the windows' installation and the lack of workmanship by the original installers. For example, we had numerous visits in attempt to resolve a whistling sound wherein wind was getting between the windows and the frames and causing it to whistle and air to come through this gap. This poor workmanship caused there to be wind coming through the windows strong enough to extinguish a candle flame. This was finally resolved on 1/28/13 when all new insulation was added, new caulking and chimney blocks added. Return visits were required to replace silicone caulking that literally peeled off the window frames within a day's time, on separate occasions. Most recently, we noticed caulking peeling off the outside of the window frames. [redacted] and two THD workers came Tuesday, 6/11 to inspect and replace caulking. The resulting caulking was very poorly done and the workers damaged the metal frames surrounding the nail holes (they are now dented). We have email documentation of some of the repairs made, but at this point, we are extremely frustrated with the [redacted] these faulty windows, and the poor workmanship received on numerous occasions.Desired Settlement: Although the [redacted] window project includes a guarantee for all labor work and repairs, we are extremely frustrated that we have had to utilize this feature on so many occasions. It has not even been two years since the original installation. There is no reason why they should have had to return so many times other than the fact that these windows were not installed properly to begin with. Additionally, the poor installation of these windows could mean that there is wood rot damage underneath and surrounding the windows. Please note that [redacted] has made every attempt to correct the numerous problems we have experienced; however, to date, they still exist. We are therefore filing an official complaint with the Revdex.com against THD At-Home Services, Inc. and the [redacted]o advise other consumers of same. Additionally, we feel as though compensation in the form of a refund by check is warranted.
