Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.My Response to the First National Bank:Before going forward I told everything in detail what all my requirements, what kind of loan am looking for which he offered me the same option which I was looking for and we agreed all our termsIn detail I asked him either 5/ARM or best rates for yr fixedFor which he offered me years fixed with APR including everything with $closing costs (sent to me in excel sheet)Below is the break down which he provided me.Purchase price $470,000Loan amount $376,0002nd mortgage $70,5005% downpoints 3.875% year fixedClosing costs $1500Payment $1768.09Based on this I asked him to pull my credit reportAfter running it he came back to me and sent me the below responseWe did started our conversation as Jumbo loan and he was aware of it" I am running into difficulties in doing this loan Purchase price $470, With 5% down $23, Loan amount $446, This puts you into a jumbo loan amount with a loan amount anything over $417, I cannot split up the mortgage into a $376,first mortgage and $70,second mortgage because I do not have a second mortgage company that can go up to 95% loan to valueIf you had 10% down then I can take a look at it"After this I sent him couple of emails he didn't respond to my emailsAnd hardly I got hold of him through his office numbersAnd he is simply saying I apologize Because of this I had very short time to go with different bank because my closing date has been fixed and I felt lot of pain and stress till the end to my loan processed with different bankAnd I had to go with higher interest rate because of my credit checks on our accountsI need to be compensated for the pain which I went through and credit checks needs to be removed from our accounts I can show all my email conversations which I had with Loan officer Regards, [redacted] ***

his communication skills and lending knowledgeare well respectedOur investigation of this matter verified that our policies were followed.After reviewing the application and other information submitted, it was determined that the loanrequest did not meet all of the conditions required to get the pricing initially discussedWe immediatelyemailed the prospective borrower and, as is our policy, presented options to get the best loan termsavailable.We apologize for any confusion we may have caused, and are still interested in making the loan underterms and conditions that are best suited for this borrower

A representative from 1st National Bank did reach out to the customer regarding their issues with the customer service they received from a former employee We apologized for their overall experience and assured them that this was not the standard practice at 1st National BankWe refunded any
initial money collected from themBecause the employee was no longer with 1st National Bank at the time of complaint it did take some time and effort to collect all data and information in order to better communicate with the customer, therefore causing delaysIn regards to the statement concerning files on the counter/front desk at our Montgomery location: 1st National Bank does not have a Montgomery location, but private information is never left open or unattended in public areas of the bankWe believe we have resolved this issue with the customer and we hope to earn their business back in the future

I want First National to honor their original commitment and give me a year mortgage at 3.375% They did not understand the government regulations and misguided me to move assets to simulate an income stream over several months They misled me by telling me that shifting
these assets would insure approval and the rate was still locked inThrough the delays, interest rates were on the rise In the end, they were wrong and the shift of assets did not satisfy the underwriters As a result, I lost the opportunity to pursue other options and secure a low rate I am incurring an on-going loss of $234/month with my current mortgage due to their incompetence
