I had an TV long distance antenna in stalled. I t work when the installers left. Several days later several channels faded in and out.
The AV Team quoted a price for a long distance TV antenna installed. They installed the new antenna 12/3/2018, which was working when they left. Several days later it started to fade out. The return the next day after I called. The installer said might need a bigger antenna, which they call an would install a larger antenna for $200 more. They realigned the antenna which again worked when they left. Several day later the TV lost channels. I email him on December 18, 2018 about the problem. I texted the owner 12/20/2018 and got a return that he was on vacation with family until January 1, 2019. I waited until the 3rd of January and texted and called him. He return my call with we did it right attitude. I request for a reasonable amount up to $75 to get a longer range antenna. He keep explaining to me they did it right.
Either replace with a longer range antenna for a resonable amount or refund my $450.00
The antenna was installed on 12.03.2018 with no problems and all channels working as they should. We were then are called out being told the channels are fading. On inspection of the antenna all was still good with its alignment and once again all channels are working. My installers then gave the customer 3 options
1; refund of 80% of the original cost 2; install a booster at $80
3; install long range antenna $200
At this point the customer told my installers that QUOTE: 'he wasn't going to pay any more than $75 extra for the long range antenna and that "HE WILL JERK THE COMPANY AROUND UNTIL HE GETS WHAT HE WANTS". I am now concerned that this complaint to the Revdex.com is part of that 'JERKING AROUND'. I look forward to your assistance in how to deal with this.
My staff have expressed that they found this customer to be very intimidating towards them.
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I would prefer my original investment back to schedule, a meeting time for them to pick up their antenna.
I agreed to buy an antenna from the Theavteam for my shop. I agreed to their price and there suggestion for the antenna. Since my house antenna has been working for over 20 years and the one on the work shop for over 8 (before the tree next to it broke most of the arms off, since then I have cut down the tree).
I did not mind the cost as long as I have multi-years of reception without having to call every several weeks or month for adjustment.
