Today -Dec.2/I have called, emailed to find out the status of my order placed weeks agoThe email will not go through under [redacted] nor www.addedtouch.ca - the latter will not even allow it to be sentThe telephone is unavailable ("You cannot reach this number, please check.....etc.")l However, on November 28th they took the amount of [redacted] off my credit cardI have reported this to the credit card companyI also got the warehouse spiel when I called, but on faith, I ordered anyway, knowing that the company has been around for years and friends have ordered successfully years ago

After attempting to purchase a product from their catalog, and verifying stock they have been unable to ship any product within reasonable timesweeks and still unable o ship a stock item, they claim they are moving a warehouseI believe they are drop shippingThey wait until they get sufficient orders for a catalog product then they drop ship from ***, and to explain the delays they use the warehouse move as an excuseTheir call center support is also not local, so be VERY cautious about doing business with them as they are prime candidates for security issues

Ordered in October and was told it would take 3-weeks for delivery Close to the delivery date, I checked my status and it was delayed an additional weeks Contacted company and was informed it was a warehouse issue and my items would be delivered ASAP Checked a week later and my delivery was delayed yet another weeks Contacted them again and asked that they cancel my order and refund me the full amount plus shipping They said refund would be processed and issued within daysThey did cancel my order but I am still waiting for my refund Have contacted them twice via e-mail regarding my refund but they have not gotten back to me

I ordered a quilt and a bed skirt from this company. both items were shipped separately. the quilt arrived a day later than the latest ETA. I did not like it and the quality was not what I expected. when I decided to send it back I discovered it would cost me [redacted] to send back a [redacted] quilt. Even when I packed it in a much smaller box it would still cost me [redacted] So I have decided to keep it and donate it. The bed skirt did not arrive several days later than the latest ETA so I phoned to inquire. At first they could not locate the order. (I had tried to track the order from their confirmation e-mail but the tracking brought me to the first item, the quilt which indicated that it had been delivered.). the phone rep then finally indicated that he could see that it had just crossed the border from the U.S. I received it a couple of days after that. I love the look of it, but it was advertised to fit twin or double bed. the bed I put it on is a twin and I have had to make an adjustment by myself so that it will not fall off the bed frame. This was a [redacted] bed skirt so I do feel gypped in a way. When I spoke to the phone rep about my issues with returning the quilt he indicated that it states quite clearly in the refund policy that they do not refund shipping charges. I did then look on the website and noted this. So not only are you required to pay return shipping you are not refunded what it cost them to ship it to you.
I think they should emphasize their refund policy in their catalogues and on their website. They do emphasize that anything can be returned, but this seems to be to their advantage not to the customer's advantage.
I have e-mailed the company with the above information but 4 business days later have not received any acknowledgement of my e-mail. poor customer service in my opinion. I wish I had read the reviews on this site before I ordered anything from The Added Touch.

Placed an order the end of September 2016. I called mid November to cancel order as it seemed to be just sitting there in limbo and really did not need product [redacted] Was given a song and dance for excuses of why it hadn't been filled and sent. Operator would not give name only "it will be shipped in the new year". They would not cancel order.."can't do that in my screen". Called credit card company and they advised to send email to start paper trail with the information as the story changed over the course of call. Sent email with CANCEL ORDER in big letters. Every time unfit a response (usually took a week) I sent a return email with "CANCEL ORDER" on it. Go someone's attention as it was delivered. Done with this company. Will keep [redacted] because I'm not dealing with their return policy to get credit.

Ordered 6 Holiday Gift items on Nov.14, 2016. My check was cashed on Nov.25. Received 1 item with notification that "any remaining items will be shipped promptly" (quote). Called them (before and after Christmas). Promised refund within 15 - 30 days. Two questions:
1. Why advertise items that are not in stock?
2. Why it takes so long to get a refund ?
