know what our process for GM reimbursements were and how long it could possibly take. Reimbursements are written for and submitted for approval by General Motors and could take up to 4 weeks before reimbursement is paid for. We have to cut the check, submit the proper back up documents with check number, GM then reviews these claims and pay it. Once we are paid for the claim, we will send him the check for $ 453.07 Also, based on his cut and paste documents he sent to you and like he posted on social media, GM does have a policy for how things are taken care of. Not all GM dealers are on the loaner car program like we are. The dealers who are on the loaner car program like we are, have strict rules and can only use dealer assigned vehicles . Dealers not on the GM loaner program also have strict guidelines and based on Dealer franchise like Chevrolet and GMC they are allowed 32-35 dollars per day, Cadillac dealers not on the loaner program are allowed 42.00 max per day including taxes with enterprises rental and it has to be a General motors product. I also wanted to mention that he was wanting us to deliver a vehicle to Houston which falls beyond 150 mile per day guidelines along with out of town contract restrictions, otherwise we could have provided him a loaner vehicle without him renting one. He also wanted us to refund him the diagnoses fee that the dealer in Luling , Texas charged him and could not work on his vehicle. He was unhappy about that but I stated he would have to work directly with the dealer service manager for possible refund from them.
