Review: I signed up with [redacted] matchmaking agency in February 28th, 2014. At that time the name of her agency was [redacted] Agency. She prided her agency as being very exclusive which is why I decided to join. Initially she had said it was $150 for a year then when we met she said $300 for two years. she asked me to fill out a long list of questionnaires at the time we met. On March 27th , A month later, she came back with more questions which I filled out and sent back right away. In April 18th I sent her an email asking if she had any matches. She responded by saying she needed more photos and suggested I use her photographer. I thought this was odd. Why ask that of me almost 2 months later. So had she not been looking for any matches in the meantime? I was hesitant but agreed. I scheduled a photo shoot for May 25th and paid another $200 on photos. So this is now 3 months into start of contract. I sent her photos in June 2014. I'm the meantime, her website was taken down. She changed her email address. Thought this was weird but she said it was because of her exclusive clients. Yet, she has another website now under a different name. I reached out to her in August and she said she's working with a new matchmaker in LA and would put me in contact with her. It is now May 2015, over a year later and still not been matched with anyone. In the entire year, she never reached out to be. I always had to call her and feel like I kept getting excuses on why I hadn't been matched. I sent her the below email and she responded in ALL CAPS. It's been a year and a half. That's ridiculous . You had a website and that website is gone. You had a matchmaker and now she's gone. If you didn't have enough suitable clients or foresaw any, you shouldn't have signed me up. You should have brought me on when your clientele base was higher and had suitable matches. You also said you were partnering with a high end auto company which would increase your clientele base. You also asked me to take professional pictures which was the hold up was a year ago. Im just hearing excuses now. Please refund me the $300 or I will contact the Revdex.com and seek other actions as well. This is not professional. Waiting a year and a half is not a reasonable time frame. I WAS REALLY CLEAR WITH YOU BUT YOU CHOOSE NOT TO LISTEN, I HAVE A CLIENT BASE THAT I AM PROUD OF AND I WORK VERY HARD - MOST OF MY CLIENTS ARE 28-35. I DID NOT LIE TO YOU OR MISREPRESENT MYSELF OR OUR BUSINESS IN ANY WAY. I DIDN'T ASK TO BRING YOU ON, YOU CAME OUT HERE - REMEMBER, YOU CAME HERE AND WE TALKED AND I TOLD YOU HOW WE WORK. I RUN AN INTEGRITY BASED COMPANY AND I TOLD YOU THAT. I HAVE MORE THEN 50 CLIENTS THAT WOULD BE HAPPY TO WRITE REFERENCE LETTERS ON MY BEHALF. I REMEMBER THE CONVERSATION VERBATIM AND I DON'T APPRECIATE YOU QUESTIONING MY ETHICS. MOST MATCHMAKERS WOULD HAVE CHARGED YOU 5-15K. YOU CAN GO AHEAD AND REPORT ME TO THE Revdex.com, DO WHATEVER YOU WANT. I KNOW THE TRUTH AND AT 300.00 (10.00 A MONTH) - I DIDN'T TELL YOU THAT I COULD GUARANTEE YOU ANYTHING. I CAN'T FORCE A CLIENT TO MEET SOMEONE HE DOESN'T WANT TO MEET EITHER. I WAS VERY CLEAR WITH YOU, DO YOU HAVE A SHORT TERM MEMORY? WHERE DID YOU GET THAT I SAID WE WERE PARTNERING WITH A HIGH END AUTO COMPANY? WE WERE TALKING TO A MARKETING COMPANY - IS THAT WHAT YOU'RE REFERRING TO, WE ALSO HAD A WEB DESIGNER BUILDING A SITE THAT WE DIDN'T LIKE AND THEREFORE WE NEVER LAUNCHED IT. I AM PROUD THAT I AM MAKING A DIFFERENCE BUT DON'T EMAIL ME AND BLAME ME - YOU KNOW THE TRUTH AND SO DO I. I FIND YOUR ATTITUDE OFFENSIVE AND UNBECOMING.Desired Settlement: Not only would I like a refund but want my personal information that I supplied back.
