had contacted your husband I assume on Tues. Sept 5th but was told the complaint was not from him nor did he have any quarrels with our company and I only have his number in our system. So was unsure who to reach out to until we received this Revdex.com Second Email notice with your information.  We would really like to review the details of the call with you as well with our technician. Could you please give us a call to our office to discuss your service call details? We would like to review how and what our technician informed you about your systems performance and how he explained his diagnosis to you.   Our technicians are expected to do a visual inspection of the equipment first; such as the unit (condenser), evaporative coil, filter, insulation of the line-set, return air vent, etc before he connects his gauges to conduct a pressure test.  They also ask follow-up questions about the history and performance of your system, whether you had to add Freon throughout the years, if it has frozen up on you, or the time frame from when the cooling of the system has dropped. If your system is low on refrigerant adding the missing number of pounds can make the system cool your home again for the time being, but there is a difference between your system being undercharge or  low from a another issue which is why your system is under-performing. When we visit your home for the first time we can’t tell if it is just undercharged, if there is a leak in the system, or if your compressor is contaminated without running additional tests. Some customers just prefer or have grown accustom of adding Freon every so often when needed, but we rather try to solve the issue and repair it the first time if possible rather than just putting a temporary fix into place to avoid the need of you calling us back every other year to add refrigerant. Over-all from your input it seemed like our technician provided a diagnosis and did offer different options to pin point the exact issue or how to resolve it, or at least tried to explain what choices you had between a temporary fix or the steps needed for a repair to resolve your issue.  We would greatly appreciate any additional feedback from you when you contact us to assure we turn this into a learning moment for all of us here and to work on any shortcomings we have to better ourselves so we can meet our current/ future customers’ needs. Thank you.
