Repair walk in freezer but not changed TXV
Week later not working
They over charged
They send me threat letter (filing court)
On 09/13/2019 repaired walk in freezer but week later same problem. They replaced TXV but did not changed the part. Total amount of $1369.51. We contacted different company they told me it's not TXV problem it was leakage on gas line. I asked them if TXV were replaced and he told me not think so. Also Air Doctor sand me a photo of old TXV part they took on day of repair when I compare the picture and my actual unit it wasn't matched. I do not think I should pay the balance of $1369.51 it is fraud. I already send pictures of our old evaporator TXV so let them compare but keep insistent that they have done everything. They sand me final notice that if we do not paid they will file through court. So I send them a check of $100.00 because I'm afraid and unfair if I have to pay. I need someone to help me regarding issues I have.

Desired Outcome

I want to resolve not paying something that not be done. From now on they should do there business honestly. We waisted times and money for going bad foods.

This store was sitting vacant for over a year. We went and found the TXV was bad in the refrigeration unit and due to sitting unused the refrigerant lines were contaminated. We quoted to replace the TXV- the unit cant run without it. We went and replaced the TXV. We have photos that we have shown the customer proving we changed it. Also the unit was running when we left. We spoke to her and explained that we flushed the system and that after running it it could need flushing again in order to remove any other contaminants from the unit sitting so long unused. She called back 2 weeks later saying the unit was acting up. I explained again that it sounds like it need flushing again- which we had previously quoted her- and she declined us to do so. I explained again and she hung up. She called back a few minutes later accusing us of not replacing the TXV. I have spoken to her and sent several letters and pictures. There is nothing else I can do in this matter. She owes us the money for the work we did. I am sorry that she does not want to understand or work with us on a solution to this matter. The Air Doctor always does the work that they say that are going to do and we take pride in that. I have photos and documents showing we did the job and did it well.

Thank you for your response. We also have proof of photos and units. The photos Air Doctors send us wasn't the same unit that we have. It's different unit after we compared. After they replaced the TXV, if they did a guy name Andy told me he will come by next morning to check if everything running well but he did not came or anybody from Air Doctor did not show up at all. I don't mine paying balance if they did work everything they supposed to do I'm just upset charging me something that wasn't done.

We have compared the photos over and over and it is without a doubt your unit. We have no reason or desire to not do the job we said we would do. The Air Doctor takes pride in their work and we make every effort to uphold our integrity by doing what is in the best interest of our customers and our company. We have given you the chance to reach out to us in order to come to some sort of agreement. We would consider offering some sort of discount to avoid going to court. Please call our office by Friday February 14, 2020 to handle this matter.

I paid the Air Doctor over $6000 to fix a commercial air freezer . Much to my dismay the unit was not fixed and remain broken.
On 2 February,2019 I paid the company $4137.90. The invoice number is: ***. In September, 2019, I paid $288.91 and again in September, I paid an additional $557.49. Invoice numbers, respectively are: *** and ***. On each occasion the company would make an assumption and charge me based on their assumptions. To date I have paid $4984.30 and the unit still is not repaired.

Desired Outcome

I am seeking refund for labor .

Case 11135895
We at The Air Doctor first went out on 2/15/2019 to look at the customer's Walk In Cooler. We noted that it had no refrigerant in the unit and needed a leak test. We advised a leak test to determine where the leak or leaks were so that the customer could then make the decision on to repair or to replace. He approved the leak test so we came back on 2/18/19 and leak tested the unit. The unit had 4 leaks and the evaporator was missing a fan blade and grille, 2 motors, and 1 motor of the three was not working. Also needed door gaskets. We quoted to replace the evap and missing parts. The customer approved and we did that job on 2/25/19. So at at this point the customer paid us for all three jobs.

We went back out on 2/27/19 at NO CHARGE to the customer to rewire one of the motors because they were coming on at the same time when they should not have been.

Then 6 months later, 8/12/19 the customer called about the same cooler. We went out and found that the high side pressure switch was not working properly. We replaced that switch. We also found that one of the fan motors was not working and we quoted to replaced the motor. The office told the customer on the phone that the motor was needed and it was important and without it the unit would not run correctly which could cause other issues.
We also went back out on 8/29/2019 at NO CHARGE to the customer because the unit leaked refrigerant due to a fitting being lose. So here is the second example of when we backed up our company policy. We warranty our work for 30 days. The first example was on 2/27.

On 9/14 the unit had more issues. At this point the customer had not approved for us to replace the motor. The tech did what he could to get the unit to run to its best abilities and told the customer he really needed to approve that motor quote because it was starting to affect the compressor. The office spoke to the customer the following Monday and after several conversations he approved for the fan motor to be replaced. The tech went Friday 9/20/19 to replace the motor. The motor was successfully replaced. The compressor however would not pump refrigerant. At this point when trying to explain to the customer that the compressor was now not functioning properly and trying to find a solution, we determined that it was in the best interest of all parties to end our business relationship.
We gave the customer his money back for the motor install ($547.49)
We gave the customer the motor.
We gave the customer the labor to install the motor and to diagnose the compressor issue that was most likely caused by being used without the motor working.
We gave him the labor for the two calls 2/27/19 and on 8/29/2019.

The Air Doctor feels that we have made every effort to make the customer happy however our efforts were not appreciated even though all that we need was beyond fair and just.
