I purchased a split unit from the Aire Conditioner Shoppe in 2014 and in 2015 started having trouble with noise caused by vibration. For the next 3 years the technicians attempted to solve the problem, but were never able to, even when assisted by the manufacturers representative. Service calls were spasmodic and controlled by Neil W, the owner. This month , October 2018, he apparently decided to quit servicing the unit entirely, although it is still under warranty. He informed me it was my responsibility to contact *** to address the issue. *** disagrees with Neal, indicating it is his responsibility. The unit was apparently defective from the beginning. I would like a replacement. The dealer who sold it to me should be responsible for dealing with the manufacturer.
He was told by *** that he needed to write a letter to *** so he can get this matter resolved there number is *** name *** the tech. for *** at *** HVAC. at ***. Mr. H did not want to listen to what I had to say. you must write a letter to get this problem resolved. and then it should get done.
Mr. H was told also by the *** from *** phone number ***-*** that he needed to write the letter the customer must write a letter about the product not us. you may call *** at *** to find out the truth. we also went to this customers home four times to try to resolve this small noise problem and never charged him. We did all we could to do to satisfy him. *** the *** dealer for Hawaii told him to contact another a/c company to take care of this problem and they would take care of this. Instead of going back and forth call the *** dealer and find out the truth. Good luck to Mr. H because we will not go back to his home.

I am rejecting this response because:
Once again Mr. W has a problem with the truth. *** from *** never told me I needed to write a letter to ***. He, in fact, agrees that the responsibility to fix the problem rests with the Aire Conditioner Shoppe. Further, Mr. ***, Residential Service Manager for *** stated the following in an email " Let me start by saying I agree with you 100% that this is the responsibility of the original contractor and if you had any additional warranty with them they should honor it. As a contractor myself I could never give up on a system that is not working correctly." In regards to coming to my home 4 times and not charging me, what would he charge me for? incompetence? They didn't resolve the issue on any occasion, nor did they reach out to *** for technical support, which Mr. C believes could have resolved the issue early on. Mr. Ws statement that he will not come back to my home is indicative of his attitude during this process. He has been rude, arrogant, combative, and unprofessional. A *** search for "complaints against the Aire Conditioner Shoppe will yield a plethora of negatives about Mr. W's behavior. His anser is to find another dealer, because it is obvious he cannot and does not want to resolve tis issue.
