On June 16, 2015, Customer contacted APICS' Customer Service Department with the following message:
Hello APICS,
May I please get
a refund for order #XXXXXXX? I am regretting my choice on this purchase since PayPal credit did not decline this purchaseNow I am not able to make this payment and PayPal is not able to help since this is a digital orderI have escalated this issue, but they have denied my request because they are not responsible with digital servicePlease, I beg of you to help a poor studentIf there is nothing you can do then this is guaranteed to hurt my creditPlease, again, help me solve this issue
On June 16, 2015, APICS' Customer Service Department responded to Customer's message stating that online purchases were nonreturnable and nonrefundableAPICS does not allow returns or refunds on online products because individuals can immediately download all of the material and then attempt to get a full refund, even though they still have all the downloaded materialAPICS clearly states this in the product description that Customer should have read prior to purchase
In two subsequent emails on June 16, 2015, Customer stated that his reason for requesting a refund was that he could not afford to pay for the productThe emails are below:
Hi APICS,
Is there nothing I can do? I cannot afford this and PayPal said I would have to talk to you in order to get this done and since it was over my credit limit and should not have been approved

It was not until August 17, that Customer claimed that his email account had been compromisedAPICS' Customer Service Department did not issue a refund because in previous emails Customer had indicated that he was aware of the charge, but only disputed it because he could no longer afford his prior purchase

I told them about my compromised Gmail account, but they feel that it is just an excuseHowever, it is not and now I am required to pay for a service that I have no idea what it isI have multiple random emails sent out to people that are not issuedThat email was one of them that created a red flag for me and made me check my PayPal account
