The Americas Title Group

This company is absolutely horrible. Their customer service is ridiculous. They have people at the front desk who have no idea or claim that they have no idea how the company is ran and lie about Associates being in the office. They close a file late at night and told my clients that they would wire their funds the next morning. When calling the next morning there is no one available to speak with us. We were told that the person who was supposed to wire the funds was going to call us back on three separate occasions and then told the person was not at work for that day. I would recommend that no one deals with this title company if you can help it. They have been to be the worst that I have dealt with in all of my years of Real Estate .

Review: I am writing a complaint against The Americas Title Group LLC. I recently sold my property on 06/25/2014. Cinthia D[redacted] of The Americas Title Group, LLC represented the buyer of my property. The property I sold was in Maryland and the buyer chose a settlement company out of Alexandria,Va. At settlement Ms. D[redacted] held proceeds from settlement for final Water and Sewer and Taxes for the property. As of today 07/23/2014, the final water/sewer hasnt' been paid nor has the Deed transfer been done. I emailed Ms. D[redacted] about this and asked her to send me documents proving that she has done her job. Well, she hasn't done so. How can a Title Company hold proceeds in Escrow and take their time disbursing the money. I am terribly stressed by this situation. I have also had to resort to filing a complaint with The Attorney Generals Office Consumer Protection Division to get this matter resolved. I am truly appauled by their actions. How is this legal?Desired Settlement: I am asking for any guidance you can offer me to get this matter resolved. I shouldn't have had to contact you, but I feel I have no other recourse it is obvious Ms. De Los Reyes is concerned.Thank you for your time.[redacted]
