Hello
I am writing in response to the complaint that you received in regards to a dispute in contracts.  We are an apartment community that has taken Section 8.  This gentleman is up for renewal.  When he moved in or renewed last year he was given an move in special that we...

would pay up too $ 150 dollar's towards a utility allowance and any remainder if over, the resident would pay. His current Section 8 worker seems to believe that we could not do that; however, they received the lease prior to their approval with said lease and addendums that stated clearly the resident is responsible for anything over $ 150 dollars in their electric bill. They approved the lease. We are no longer paying for any of the electric bills as we no longer have that special.
We do understand that sometimes this process is difficult to understand and I understand his confusion.  He had been misinformed by his worker, and my company supervior is currently working with the Section 8 Department in resolving the confusion.
Warm Regards,

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

I don't think  [redacted] is correct in her findings as per the statement given "they received the lease prior to their approval with said lease ". I think her confusion is that if section 8 had not approved the lease I would not be living here.  Therefore, [redacted] contract takes presidence over what ever shady deals Villa Mirada can think up.[redacted] seems to sound like she knows [redacted] regulation better than any one else. She was told by my representative that in order to increase rents she must contact another representative to get the FAIR MARKET VALUE on rents in the area. Here again  [redacted]  called me and told me she received the FMV without contacting the proper authorities. Another issue is that " Villa Mirada Apartment Homes" is not registered to do business in the State of Arizona as far as the CORPORATION COMMISION  is concerned.
