Review: I purchased a refrigerator and paid to have it delivered ! In 1 week the refrigerator is failing . Called the company up and now I have to pay $80. For them to pick up the fridge and fix or replace it . I don't want to buy anything from them and want my credit card credited . I told them I would return the fridge to them and they would only give me a store credit . I lost everything in my freezer and fridge , I lost enough . Their wed site says 100 % guarantee or your money back ! They refuse to credit my charge . Please help me !Desired Settlement: I don't like [redacted] the [redacted] and he won't bend or work with me for anything ! Please help me get this charge off my credit card , I will return it !

Review: The only reason why I did was because I needed a refrigerator ASAP for a house rental. I purchased the refrigerator the last week in May 2013. The first week that I purchased a refrigerator I had it serviced. Be careful and read carefully [redacted]To go out and service appliance they charge $40 the adverstising is mis leading when it reads 90 days guarantee because you get charger $40[redacted] A month later the same issue happened. I misplaced the receipt granted it was my fault. However, the store did not want to help, and said that they do not keep any records of purchases nor receipts. Therefore the 90 day guarantee is voided. Spoke with [redacted] and asked to speak to a manager, I was told that the manager was not in, she puts me on hold and [redacted] happened to walk in. They are rude and do not care about their customers once they have already collected their money they do not care.Desired Settlement: I want to return the appliance and get my money back to purchase a brand new one.

Review: I ordered a refrigerator from this company and two months later I started finding roaches in my house. I called an exterminator in and he stated my house was infested with roaches and the cause was the refurbished refrigerator. I have spent over 700 in extermination and 6 months later I still cant get rid of them. I have been in constant contact with [redacted] and he said he will refund my my cost of the refrigerator for what I have gone through. I have followed up with [redacted] for several months ans still no refund. [redacted] will no longer return my calls and I still have a roach issue which is horrifying for me anf my three little children. We have been terrified to sleep for months and been exterminaing monthly still.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of $260 for the refrigerator and $700 for the extermination.

Review: 90 day warranty is valid if you BRING BACK the appliance to their Warehouse location. I have a previous complaint against their delivery service since on the day of delivery they not only damaged the refrigerator, did not install the new refrigerator, or remove my old one, but also damaged - gouges and scratches in my less than one year old new kitchen floor. I will not allow that company back in my home under any circumstances....... reading reviews on here gave me further in- site on how well THE Appliance MONSTER handle customer complaints, and handle themselves with the terms of the so called 90 day Warranty. Returning it to them for service...... which is clearly not an option for most people....to bring it back for service after it was delivered, and use that same deliver service....or just put it on my back and walk it to Hauppauge..... I left my box truck with the lift gate with the other consumers on here who don't have one at their immediate disposal...........REDICULOUS WARRANTY

In the warranty it states that they are under no time restriction to replace or repair the appliance. A review of a complaint on here told me I would get no where with getting a fixed appliance out of them........ever......... she is probably still waiting on the ice maker.......

I notified them in writing that I had no way of getting the appliance back to them, would not consider using AM Home Delivery, and would be seeking out an Appliance Repair Service who would give me an ON-SITE estimate of the repair at MY HOME....which I did...... THE APPLIANCE MONSTER's reply to that was.......... " As you know, you have a warranty covering any parts and labor. Please call our store during business hours to discuss the repair or replacement. Additionally, as you are aware , we would be forced to void your warranty if there are any signs of any tampering or repairs done by someone other than an appliance monster employee.

[redacted] "Desired Settlement: The repair of the Computer Board, and temperature sensor to fix the unit not being cold or freezing was $450.00, for this GE side by side refrigerator Model number GSH22JSTASS serial number HL206749. To have the guy come out and give the estimate cost me $75.00, which was applied in the cost of the repair. The cost of repair parts and labor $375.00 plus $75.00 Estimate Call......... I went on line and compared the price of the parts on three on-line parts warehouses......... the average of those three higher priced to lowest price comes to $145.28 for a new board and temperature sensor. I would be willing to resolve this matter with The APPLIANCE MONSTER with a reimbursement of the cost of obtaining the parts $150.00, and the cost of the ESTIMATE of $ 75.00 for a total of a CASH refund of $ 225.00. Based on my dealing with them, I have no belief in their sincerity or faith that they would do the repair correctly using new parts, I will not return the unit to them to do the repair because of previous issues with their delivery service, and have no other way of getting it back to them, and because of that I am willing to absorb some of the costs of the repair which is $450.00 I am not concerned with them voiding my 90 day warranty as the warranty for the parts and the repair is good for ONE YEAR........ so they can consider no further responsibility or mechantibility for this unit to operate after I receive my cash refund of $ 225.00.

Review: I ordered over the phone a refrigerator, in white with ice maker, stackable washer/dryer and 24 inch electric stove from The Appliance Monster.and spoke to someone named [redacted]. They are used appliance company. All came with 90 day warranty as advertised. The refrigerator broke 2 weeks after I plugged it in. I called and The Appliance Monster, [redacted], said that they would replace it with a White Refrigerator with an ice maker. The refrigerator came without an ice maker. I called and [redacted] said I would have the ice maker in 5-7 days. The second refrigerator was delivered on Thursday, September [redacted], that is when I called and said there was NO ice maker in it. That is when [redacted] said it would be 5-7 days. I waited the 7 days and [redacted] said it's still not in. The second week I called every other day to see if the ice maker was in, The third week I am calling every day. NOW [redacted] is yelling at me. He told me he loved for me to take him to court. I told him his guys turned off my cold water when they put in the second refrigerator and there was no ice maker. So I have to wash my fruit and vegetables for my 10 year old daughter in the shower. My daughter has severe constipation and has to eat fruit and vegetables every day. He is now yelling at me. He said he has NO IDEA WHEN THE ICE MAKER IS GOING TO COME IN AND I HAVE TO WAIT. I said, " you told me 5-7 days". [redacted] said," I shouldn't have said that", What am I supposed to doDesired Settlement: All I want is my ice maker installed and not to be yelled at.

Review: On May * 1914 I purchased a refrigerator from The Monster Appliance for $325.88. At time of purchase I was told that if I was picking it up, I could get it when I wanted it. I picked it up on May ** at 5:00PM took it home let it sit upright until 9:00 AM on May ** 2014 and the refrigerator never cooled. I called the company to have someone to come out to repair the refrigerator they me that they don't send people that I would have to lug it back to the store because I didn't have it delivered. I told them that it was their responsibility to get it back to their store because it was not my fault that it didn't work. They refused so I Had to put it in my van and take it back on May ** 2014. I called them after 2 days and they told me that it couldn,t be fixed. I asked for a refund, they refused saying the 72 hours for a refund had expired. They wanted me to take another appliance of the same value or take store credit. I informed them that the appliance had been in their possession until I picked it up on May ** 2014 that the 72 hour time should be from the date when I took possession. And it should have been checked on the day that I called to pick it up that it was in working order. On May ** 2014 before we picked we picked up the refrigerator we purchased over $350.00 worth of meats and other items for the Memorial day holiday which the meats spoiled because of no refrigerator. I had to borrow $300.00 to buy another refrigerator from another company which I have a receipt for. I was definitely was not taking another refrigerator from Monster Appliance after the experience with them sending out a appliance not tested and not working. Monster Appliance never apologized or said that were sorry for our inconvenience. The police were called to try to mediate the situation, but they still would not give us a refund we I believe we are entitled to.Desired Settlement: Refund for the non working refrigerator which they told me they could,t fix plus my spoiled groceries that I lost due to their negligence.
