Review: My daughter bought a Canary as a surprise for my 72nd Birthday. The clerk told her the bird was a male and would sing. After 3 weeks of no singing I called the Store and spoke to a clerk then to [redacted] who said they sell male and non singing female birds at the same price of $99. and offer no guarantee that the bird will sing and don't offer refunds or exchanges. She also said the birds don't sing until Spring when they look for mates which is rediculesas male canaries sing all year unless they are maulting.Desired Settlement: I want a singing canary, which would be a male, or the $99. + that the bird cost.

Attached is the messaging between myself and [redacted] per [redacted] private message. The particular bird she is referring to was here in our store for many months with 3 other canaries, it sang almost every day to them which is why her daughter and I picked that one out. It will take some time for the bird to become settled and start singing. We offer a 72 hour health guarantee on all live animals, all sales are final. [redacted] was told at the end of our phone conversation to give it a few weeks and if the canary still did not sing we would trade it for her. By the [redacted] message she sent, we hope that the complaint has been resolved. Thank you.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my concern, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. I told them the bird is beautiful and because of that I will keep it but it is not a male and after a month and a half hasn't even chirped let alone sing if it ever sings I will personally apoligize to the owner and post my mistake on Facebook, but if it's a female I'll bring her an omelet.
