We have reviewed this matter, and would like to offer our apologies. We also regret the delay in...
giving you a refund. We spoke with the artist, and she has agreed to return your money. We regret that the transaction was not accompanied by a receipt or a contract that would have clarified the matter for all parties concerned, and we regret the misunderstanding that occurred because of this. We can assure you, however, that there was no intent on her part to cheat you or to anger you. We had her pay the Artist Guild the money, and we are now sending you a check for $100, to be posted on 10/14.

I accept and appreciate the response and resolution from the Artists Guild of San Francisco. All I wanted was to be reimbursed for a sale that did not go through.
