We have reviewed the complaint filed by [redacted] ***We are aware of the claims that [redacted] has made in the complaint and I have spoken with her personally I will address a few items of her complaint independently With her claim that we have entered her apartment without permission, the lease provides for when we may enter the apartment in Section Among other instances, we may enter using a duplicate key to respond to resident request, make repairs or replacements, checking on water leaksThese are aside from responding to emergencies As a matter of service, we will typically ask a resident if they wish to be present when we complete the workAs I discussed with [redacted] ***, if there was a misunderstanding amongst our staff on whether she wished to be present while we were completing the work, I apologize for that and will do my best to ensure that it does not happen againI do not believe this misunderstanding such an egregious breach of lease to justify terminationIf she disagrees, she is welcome to seek: to formally terminate the lease as allowed in the Lease Agreement As for the claim of the frequent entry, I informed [redacted] that we do, not have any record showing that we have entered the apartment and that the duplicate keys are kept in a secure locationI suggested that she call the police if she feels that someone is entering her apartmentI did also let her know that we could change her lock and provide her new keys for the apartment for a fee Lastly, we do not show any open service requests for [redacted] ***We are sorry that some items needed repair during her residency but things do come up in buildings, doesn't matter if it is a home, condo, apartment or officeWe responded timely to her requests [redacted] is scheduled to move-out at the end of her lease on October 28, At this point, we will not release [redacted] from the Lease Agreement and ask that the complaint be closed

I will address a few items of her complaint independently.
With her claim that we have entered her apartment without permission, the lease provides for when we may enter the apartment in Section 28. Among other instances, we may enter using a duplicate key to respond to resident request, make repairs or replacements, checking on water leaks. These are aside from responding to emergencies.
As a matter of service, we will typically ask a resident if they wish to be present when we complete the work. As I discussed with [redacted], if there was a misunderstanding amongst our staff on whether she wished to be present while we were completing the work, I apologize for that and will do my best to ensure that it does not happen again. I do not believe this misunderstanding such an egregious breach of lease to justify termination.
