Review: I bought a GE range 08-**-2013 whit the other appliances and the delivery day was 08-**-13 I get the delivery in that date but the stove was not there I get only fefridge dishwasher broan allure I call the place they say the stove is back order so they gime me and other one frigidaire 09-**-2013 was not box so was not happy whit this situcion so I call in the nex 3 days to have a electrical range .the other two were gas range ok so now I what a electrical one because the town gime a problem x gas range permit so I order a new one I pay credit card they take the other one I never used never instold so was a new in only was 5 day so they charge me and they trying to sell like a used one becouse is not box they never left de box . and olso the refridge was defected and they try to charge my for fix so I need my money backDesired Settlement: Desired Settlement: Refund-Cash

Dear Representative,

I am in receipt of the above referenced complaint and hereby offer the following response;

**. [redacted] did purchase a General Electric gas range as stated. The range was back ordered by General Electric and not available for the desired delivery date. **. [redacted] was notified of this at the time of purchase and understood the range would be delayed a few weeks.

**. [redacted] received his original delivery and decided he did not want to wait for the original range and upon his insistence chose a Frigidaire gas range that was considerably more expensive but, in order to please him, we did sell him that at the same price as the original and delivered that range promptly. This range was delivered boxed and **. [redacted] requested we dispose of the box.

Approximately ten days later **. [redacted] contacted us that he found out that he needed town permits to run gas lines and he did not

want to pay the cost of these permits or have the town inspect the gas lines. He decided he wanted an electric range. Why he was so rushed to receive his range when permits and gas lines had not yet even been started is not understood.

We explained to **. [redacted] there would be a restocking charge for us to return the range to the distributor, as it was a special order, and the balance would be applied to an electric range. He did not want to pay the restocking charge and agreed to purchase an electric range and we would take the gas range back and sell it, on consignment, as a floor model. As soon as we sell his range, regardless of possibly selling it for a lower price, we would refund him his full purchase price. **. [redacted] completely agreed to this.

We delivered the electric range and brought the gas range to our floor on September **, 2013. Our sales staff is actively trying to sell it as it is not a style we normally keep on our floor as it is a specialty "slide in" model, meaning a consumer looking specifically for this type must be found. We are confident the range will sell in a reasonable time frame and **. [redacted] will then be credited.

**. [redacted] has repeatedly called and harassed us even though he agreed to this arrangement as it was the most cost efficient. We feel we have been very reasonable and fair with him and will continue to be.

**. [redacted] also states that his refrigerator was defective and we tried to charge him for the fix? We have no record of any problems with the refrigerator and since it is covered by a warranty there would be no charge for the manufacturer to provide service.
