Drainage issues related to landscaping not addressed. Plant warranty not fully honored despite my good faith efforts to comply with terms.I contracted with The Atlantic Landscaping Group, [redacted], February 18, 2014. Owner is [redacted]. [redacted] managed the project and facilitated the contract development. At the beginning of the project and throughout, I noted that my priorities were for good drainage and for planting beds so that I could garden. I also wanted the larger trees and shrubs installed. Retaining walls and patios were beautifully executed, but were not my priority. Work was supposed to begin one month later. Work did not begin until June. Work schedule was erratic and plants were not installed and/or transplanted until July. This despite my questions about viability of planting and transplanting during this timeframe. I noted that I would prefer to wait until a more appropriate time. In addition, [redacted] obtained plants before he was ready to install and left them sitting out such that they were in unacceptable condition at installation. Finally, the beds were never prepared and amended to support proper drainage and long term plant viability. I had confirmed with the project manager at the time that I signed the contract that plant installation included bed prep. There was clearly communication problems between the project manager ([redacted]) and Atlantic Landscape. As drainage issues became more apparent, I contacted Mr[redacted] and was told he woukd take care of the pooling in the center of the yard. He has not.Throughout the process, Mr[redacted] has been slow to respond to inquiries about plant health and drainage. He has replaced a few hydrangea though the one in front doesnt seem to be a large enough variety to provide required screen. At this point, I have already replaced several dead plants on my own. But, new plants are dying due to drainage problems and pooling of water is unacceptable.Desired SettlementI need the drainage fixed. Beds need to be amended so that plant roots are not sitting in water. Grading needs to be fixed so that water is not pooling in the middle of the yard and near the house. If not, I need a partial refund to have the drainage fixed by somebody else.Business Response We will have all the issues resolved by the end of the first week in August (7th).
