I have been dealing with this auction house for many yearsI wish to compliment the way they do business and the fine way they treat their consignors and buyersI have participated in both of these and I have nothing for praise in both

Revdex.com:All I ever received from them after calling was $900.00 back last year.  I never received any other money from them.  I called repeatedly and left messages with their person who answers the phone.  But I did not receive a call back.  I am tired of calling and not getting any response from them.  They took away a valuable MGM studio fireplace that Betty Davis stood in front of in a movie she did.  [redacted] was very anxious to get that into his truck and also a [redacted] boys banana bike from the 1970s in great original condition that he was also anxious to get.  There were also jars of wrapped antique wheat pennies that my father had collected and jewelry plus good men’s watches that he was very happy to get onto his truck. I gave him antiques from my own home to sell as well.  so for him to say that everything he took was in bad condition and not worth anything is not true.  I did not want to make a complaint but had no other choice because I could not get him to call me back and issue me a check for the money for items he has sold.  I would like my antique fireplace back and some other items.  If he is willing to pay me the money owed to me from items he has sold and send me money when he does sell my items without me having to call and call and call to get a reply or money sent to me, then I will be satisfied.  but I feel it is unfair for him to call me a lier when I tried so many times to get this resolved and he would not call me back and get this settled with me. We have researched this complaint and have found the following to be the correct information. On June 5, 2015 we received a call to respond to Culver City to look at an estate that needed to be sold. Upon arrival we found a very old duplex in very bad condition. We were informed it was...

being demolished in two days and that anything not removed asap would be trashed. The consignor wanted us to respond asap and remove anything that might sell from the premises, which we did on June 7th,2015. We have had several auctions and sold some of the items consigned approximately 900.00 worth thru July of last year which the consignor has been paid for.  Another 897.00 worth have been sold to date and a check has been issued and forwarded to the client. Most of the items picked up were in need of repair, or in poor condition, we have tried our best to service this client our doors are open everyday and there items are here for review. To be called unprofessional when all we did was a favor to accommodate them so that the wrecking ball did not take everything is ridiculous there items are on display at our warehouse for sale as we speak. We have glued repaired and stored these things for a year and still trying to sell them. We did not pickup 7000 worth of stuff and have paperwork for what was picked up the total truckload would not sell for that amount. The only thing that we did wrong was I got sick and was not here to respond to there calls personally for three months. We try very hard to please our clients they are free to call anytime and come by our office in Fullerton to settle this matter our doors are always open and the records are here to back up what we have done. They are welcome to pickup at there expense any unsold items by appointment, all they have to do is call and make an appointment.

Sorry you did not like our response but that is all we can do at this point there is only one option left.
We have sent you your money and a report of sales and offered to have you pickup your remaining items including the fireplace.
We are open Monday thru Friday 9-6 and answer the phone when it rings, you live in Orange County and could have come by anytime to settle this.
Your valuable fireplace has no proof of every being in any movie, has been falling apart due to poor care before it arrived here and we have repaired it many times.
Please call make arrangements to pickup your items, what has not sold at this point will not sell and needs to be picked up. You have received and cashed two checks
and we are up to date. Any future communications need to be thru the office you may contact [redacted] at [redacted] and make arrangements with her. 
There will be no further answers to this complaint from us thru this venue as we have done all we can to satisfy the demand.
