The autofinders falsely claims to be Revdex.com accredited. Examples of this false advertising can be found on their websites. http://www.theautofinders.com/dealership/about.htm and the literally hundreds of spam posts that they have made on [redacted] An example post is http://raleigh.[redacted]org/ctd/4664789703.html the thousands of "keywords" at the bottom of the post violate [redacted] TOS. Desired SettlementStop spamming [redacted] you are filling my legitimate searches for a car with unrelated junk remove the unrelate keywords from the bottom of your posts and stop claiming to be Revdex.com accredited when you are not.Your advertising practices are highly unprofessional and you should think about the impact you are having on other people when making your SPAM.Business Response Dear Sirs,In response to complaint [redacted]:We purchase [redacted] advertising thru a 3rd party vendor who post some select vehicles from our inventory to the [redacted] site.I am unfamiliar with what Mr. [redacted] is referring to? I'm sure if we were violating any [redacted] policy, [redacted] would inform the 3rd party listing company that also offers their listing services to Hundreds of dealers across the country. As for "Accredited" We have been Accredited with Revdex.com for many years and currently still are. If our status has changed please advise? I think Mr. [redacted] needs to find a more constructive use of his time or a real issue to complain about so as not to be wasting your organizations time. Thank you for allowing us to respond. With any further questions please feel free to contact me personally.[redacted]The Auto Finders Inc.A Certified Master DealerThe NC/SC Quality Dealer of the Year Consumer Response [redacted], the core of the issue here is that your company is responsible for the advertising done on your behalf. You chose to hire a 3rd party to post ads on [redacted] which is explicitly forbidden see http://www.[redacted].org/about/help/faq#repostForProfit. You and or this 3rd party decided that it was so important to show up for every search result that you put thousands of unrelated words in each advertisement (see http://www.[redacted].org/about/prohibited under keywords spam). Causing my searches for a [redacted] to show up with hundreds of results for your late model cars, none of which was a [redacted]The [redacted] community obviously agreed with my opinion given that the posts of yours were removed. This comment is not a waste of Revdex.com time as consumers that choose to deal with your business should be aware of your unethical advertising practices. On the accreditation when I searched for your business on the Revdex.com it specifically stated that "The Auto Finders Inc." was not accredited by Revdex.com.Final Business Response Dear Sirs,Again we are doing absolutely nothing "unethical" and we take great offense to the false and misleading charge. Our advertising does not include once false word nor offer! I have checked with our listing company and they assured us we are 100% within the rules set forth by [redacted]. They actually partner with [redacted] and are allowed to post on our behalf as do hundreds of companies on the behalf of thousands of businesses natiowide. We have also emailed [redacted] to review our advertising and double check our compliancy to their rules. They have not responded with ANY concerns! This customer flagged our listings for removal himself. The [redacted] organization had zero to do with there removal. This individual sees himself as some "self appointed" police of [redacted] and wants to use your organization to bully others around. I see no middle ground to be achieved here as we are doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING wrong. Again I thank you for the opportunity to respond, this is our final word on this matter.
