To whom it may concern, We sold a Chevy Express van with an odometer reading of 167,870, on 02-01-to a [redacted] The buyer's order was signed and initialed AS ISThe out the door price was shown as $all inclusiveThere was no representation that this van was in any way, shape, or form anything other than an old work van that had been a trade inWhen he started having problems on this AS IS van, we did offer to help replace the engine for $1200.00, this is absolutely factWhat isn't mentioned is that we were buying the engine at our cost, and installing it for FREEYes, no charge for the labor, and the engine at our cost, on a 1998, sold AS IS vanAlso, on vehicles over yrs old, no odometer is required as is shown on MrTyler's title, they are exempt according to state license and titling regulations, which eliminates the odometer fraud accusationThe owner talked to this gentleman personally, and made the offer to help, at significant cost to us, and the salesman reiterated the offerI think we took more responsibility and went above and beyond, to help out on a twenty year old vehicle that again, was sold AS ISAlso, on any of our older, cash only, AS IS vehicles, we encourage people, if they'd like, to the the vehicle to a technician, or bring a technician with them, if they are that old, obviously they aren't going to be perfectIf an engine goes out seven weeks after a purchase, I'm going to hazard a guess that not a lot of establishments would have offered the help that we didIf you need a copy of the buyers order, or the title application for verification, please advise Sincerely, [redacted] General Manager
