I am very sorry to hear you are dissatisfied with your experience and with the warranty coverage purchased for your vehicleI would first like to say that this is the first I have heard of any problem(s) you have had with the car and no mention or attempt for help has been made to ask us for help
with any repairs on the vehicleWe are always here to help with any issues you have with a vehicle purchased here, even if it was purchased AS IS, as was the case with this vehicle purchaseI would also like to say that no warranty covers a clutch replacement, not even a new vehicle warrantyClutches are specifically not covered because a clutch CAN be ruined in as little as sixty seconds, especially with a new driverA clutch is a wear item and there is no way to decipher the life left in a clutch through traditional inspectionThe clutch was performing as intended when the vehicle left the dealership, but I don't have any specific knowledge of the life remaining, nor how the vehicle was driven, other than I know you purchased the car for a young new driver who may or may not know how to properly drive a manual transmission vehicleAny problems I have had with manual transmission vehicles clutches have been 100% with young drivers, so my experience leads me to believe they are not driving the vehicles properly doe to a lack of experienceI am not making an assumption that this is your case, but rather I am explaining my experience. As for the warranty you purchased, it is an excellent warranty that covers exactly what is listed on the pamphlet you perused before purchasing, and on the contract you signed and were provided upon purchaseThe warranty is not a new vehicle warranty, nor will it cover every thing that could go wrong with the vehicleIt specifically excludes any wear items, including a clutch, and I specifically went over the items covered, specifically mentioning that it does not cover any wear itemsIf you are having an issue getting a repair covered on an item that was listed as a covered component, I would be happy to help get it resolvedI have no affiliation with the warranty company other that I sell the warranty and have some influence as an "Elite Dealer" because of my low claims rateI do service as well and have used *** on the claim side and can attest to their commitment to covering covered components without hesitation again and again*** warranties are not cancellable to my knowledge as should be clearly stated on the contract you received and signedI never made any claim nor led you to believe the warranty was cancellable because it is my experience they are not cancellableAgain, I have no affiliation or control over *** policy or contract dispute, so any issue you have with this policy would be with *** and not with us the dealershipWe did make an attempt at your request to cancel the warranty by contacting *** and they informed us it was NOT cancellable or refundable except in the event of a total loss or bank repossessionThese contract details would be listed on the contract you signed and received at the time of purchaseI am always happy to help you however I can after the sale, but the only knowledge I have of any issues was when you called and asked for Barb to request a refundI told you she was out sick (as she was) and would return Saturday but it was my understanding the warranty was not refundableYou believed that *** gave you a different impression so I encouraged you to call her and we would try to get a refundYou also stated that your son bought a different vehicle in place of this one and didn't want the car or warranty any moreWe did and it was deniedIf you think otherwise, I encourage you to contact *** directly and plead your caseI will help you get it resolved in any way I can. Again, I am here to help you in any way I can, and will continue to do soI am sorry you are dissatisfied, but please don't make the assertion that I have refused any opportunity to help you, as I have only had the opportunity to call *** to request a refund that was denied.
