I sent a letter to the company as soon as I realized the damage to my vehicleThe areas of rust are on the roof of my vehicle an area that I wouldn't normally look atWhen I first noticed some spots of discoloration on my car I began to inspect my vehicle closerTo my surprise I found more spots that looked differentI sent out a letter as soon as I noticedMy letter was returned to me as the address on the original paperwork was not validI contacted the auto dealer from which I had purchased my vehicle without any help with contacting the autosaver company.? Not being an automotive type person I was not aware how long or at what stage the "rust" was at on my vehicleThe original agreement does not define the term "rust"There are several areas of damage reported to the company, all of which they refused to fixI feel that I have been taken advantage of as a consumer Regards, [redacted] ***

The warranty holder submitted a claim for rust damage to the [redacted] listed on the limited warranty agreementThe damage claimed was to multiple areas such as the roof, hood and both rear wheel openingsA copy of the warranty and photo of the damage area was requested in order to validate coverageUpon review of the requested information and the multiple photos submitted it was discover that the areas of damage were all in an advance state of corrosion, well beyond the terms of reporting as set forth in the limited warranty documentIt is our experience that the onset of corrosion to multiple panels of an automobile does not start at the same momentAs very clearly stated in the warranty agreement, all damage must be reported at the first sign of damage or within days of such damage, Failure to do so may cause your claim to be deniedIt is the opinion of our agent that the damage claimed has been present and very visible for quite some time, far beyond the condition that warranty repairs should be grantedDue to the negligence of the warranty holder in reporting damage to the Company this clam is denied.? ?

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me The term system implies a processIn this case The Auto Saver System, sold me a rust preventative systemThis process did not perform as it was supposed to or my truck would not have rustThis truck has been very well maintained as the service records at [redacted] will back-upI am disappointed with the outcome of this complaint but as a single individual I am unable to enter into a fight with a company whose pockets are deeper than mineAt this time I will accept a full refund of the purchase price $along with the sales tax I paid on the purchase of the Auto Saver System Regards, [redacted]

Please except this in response to Revdex.com complaint [redacted] At the request of our claim administrator our company instructed the claim agency to contact the warranty holder of this claim and Revdex.com complaint As instructed the warranty holder was contacted via phone and the warranty coverages, our product’s claim of performance and condition of the vehicle where all reviewed and debatedAt the outcome a monetary offer of good will was offered from our company and accepted by the warranty holderPlease consider this complaint as resolvedThank you in advance, Robert K

Revdex.com spoke to Cole at business and the following was relayed: Often customer's look at the service as an insurance instead of a limited warrantyWhen more than one area is rusting at the same time and some are much further along, these are issues that should have been identified with regular maintenanceWe consider a vehicle that is taken care of is a vehicle that is maintained within every month period and it is expected that rust would be noticedRust is a slow process and the pictures of the latch show an area that should have been noticed right awayThe offer to refund the cost of the original service remains
