We have contacted the guest and spoke with her in response to this complaint on or around September 7, After inspecting her vehicle on September 5, 2017, we found the issue with her power steering is that the power steering rack is leaking internally from the sealsThe seals are a "wear
and tear" item and are located inside the rack assembly and covered at the ends with bootsThis power steering issue is unrelated to the work previously performed on September 1, which were the replacement of the lower control arm bushingsFor example, would a repair shop be responsible for a light bulb that stopped working after an oil and filter change; just because they were the last to service the car? We even advised her to get a second opinion on this concern to see if any of the work we performed was related to or could have caused this power steering issue to which we have not received any response. We stand behind our work and pride ourselves in taking great care of every one of our guests and their vehiclesIf we were at fault of the power steering issue, wewould gladly have repaired itAgain, the repairs performed are unrelated to the guest's power steering issue

To whom it may concern In reference to id#[redacted], (will contact the customer today and see what we can do to trade her out of the car and get her something else to drive. I will send you a follow up letter in the next couple of days to update you on the issues, we will do whatever...

we can to help resolve the situation. Thank you [redacted] Toyota of Laredo Ph. ###-###-#### tbracken bury@ powellwatson.com

I am responding in regards to complaint ID #[redacted]. The customer purchased a vehicle from us on 12/26/2017. There was an agreement between the customer and my finance manager that his check would not be cashed until January 6th, 2017. My office made the mistake of running his check before the...

agreed upon date which resulted in the customer receiving overdraft charges in the amount of $105.00 on January 3rd. The customer made us aware of this issue on January 3rd and on January 4th he provided us with a copy of his bank statements showing the overdraft charges. We refunded his original down payment of $1000 on January 3rd and we then overnighted a check for $105.00 on January 4th for the reimbursement of the overdraft charges. The customer then gave us authorization to charge his credit card for the original down payment of $1000 which was done on January 8th. The issue has been resolved. Thank you.Sincerely,[redacted]

I completely disagree with The Auto Shop's response. I took my car back to [redacted] to fix the damages caused by The Auto Shop. At which point they confirmed that The Auto Shop did not even do the job they charged me for (being the replacement of the control arms for $681). On 9/7/2017 A1 informed me that the original control arms were still on my car, cracked and worn out. Please see attached photos. But not only that, when my car was at A1 on 8/29/2017, my power steering system was completely dry. There wasn't a leak in sight. Once I took my car back to A1 on 9/7/2017 they found small pin holes made in my power steering rack. Which is why the power steering leaked so quickly causing my power steering to stop working from Friday 9/1/2017 (when I dropped my car off to The Auto Shop) to Monday 9/4/2017 when I drove my car for the first time since picking it up from The Auto Shop (my car was parked from Friday evening, after I picked it up from The Auto Shop, until Monday morning without being driven.) They turned that information over to The Bureau of Automotive as well. Please see all the attached photos. Thank you.
