Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
It is with deep regret that I have to teach Ms. [redacted], what her job as a car insurance agent really is, in her line of business, which presumably she has been engaged in for some time.  If a customer has to tackle their own insurance  agent ([redacted], State Farm in this case), the insurance company of the other driver and the repair shop after an accident in order to get the car repaired, I don't know what the insurance premium payment to [redacted] was paying for in my case.
Ms. [redacted] has not yet even called the repair shop to get the car repairs moving forward. Instead, she is banking on me calling and chasing the insurance company of the other driver, whose fault it was in this accident.  Then what is the purpose of "my insurance" if I have to prove that the other person was at fault, get the police report, chase the other insurance agent down, who is not gong to call me back since he/she knows that now I am at his/her mercy and my own insurance agent is just sitting there waiting for someone else to pay for the repairs.
Clearly, State Farm is an insurance company for drivers who will never have an accident, so they never have to pay for anything, and its agents don't have to do anything except collect the insurance premiums, but never have to provide any service.
My car needs to get repaired ASAP and State Farm needs to ensure that the repairs are paid for and it is their job to collect their money from the other insurance company, if they can.
Regards,
[redacted]

The father of [redacted] Govind, transferred her car policy from his Ohio State Farm office.  At that time, we were advised to have her as the named insured, only, So the policy was issued in her name...

only.   Her parents have remained in Ohio.  It is State Farm’s policy to speak to only the named insured’s when referencing a specific policy.  This is for privacy considerations.  Her father is not a named insured.  So therefore we could not speak to any particulars of her policy.

She let her policy lapse due to nonpayment 9-20-2013.  We contacted [redacted], not the parents, on the following dates:  8-5-2013, 9-5-13, and 9-9-13.

One day her mother called and reinstated the policy, on 4-11-14.  Since [redacted] had been driving since September, 2013 without insurance we had to write her as a driver that had been driving without auto insurance so her classification was much different than it was previously.  I, [redacted], the agent,  spoke with the Mother that day,  I offered her rental car and emergency road service as options,  which she declined since the rate had increased substantially.   This rate was due to having driven without insurance for a approx. period of 8 months.  This rate is much higher.    I emailed temporary id cards at the time of application to the Daughter, [redacted] and not to the father and mother.

Then when the policy was issued permanent cards were included in the mailing of the policy information directly to [redacted].

At one time when we contacted the mother about [redacted] being late she advised us that her daughter was old enough to take care of her own insurance and to call her for payment.

My office has dealt directly with [redacted] in obtaining her a rental car and getting her damaged auto towed to a repair center.  The accident was on Sunday and we had her in a repair center with a FREE rental car on Monday.  We called around to various body shops trying to locate a Service First office so an adjustor was not required to look at the vehicle, that also provided a free loaner for her since she did not have rental car. We were happy to provide this service just for convenience for her since she was not  at fault in this accident.   We did find a shop that accomplished this goal.  We had the auto towed to the Service first shop, Abra, Brookfield, WI, which will provide a free loaner for her as long as the damage is greater than $750.00,  on Monday, 7-16,.

At the time he called our office, we did not have permission to talk to him about his adult daughters auto policy since he was not a named insured on the policy.  The daughter has now given us permission to speak with him on her behalf..

Since Monday, [redacted] did approve us to add emergency road service and rental car on her policy as of yesterday afternoon for any future claims issues.  She also gave us permission to speak to her father about her policy, which we did not have prior to yesterday afternoon.  So when he called we could not speak to him about the auto policy for [redacted] only gave us that permission yesterday afternoon.

She also requested new id cards, which I emailed to [redacted] not her parents yesterday afternoon.

[redacted] has failed to return our calls on many attempts to set up an insurance and financial review since joining our agency which we do like to accomplish every year with our clients.  That appointment insures that the client is fully aware of all their coverage’s.

If you have other questions, please advise.
