I am rejecting this response because:
The only accuracy appears to be that the awning was returned by the owner on 12/31/2015 so I would consider the matter closed but wanted to note that the information he provided was false.  The date I called was 11/25 the awning was taken several days before.
We were not aware of any automatic service provided to this property.  I came home from work one day and the awning was missing, we were completely confused on why it was missing till I asked our neighbor and he saw men on our roof.  I went to the phone book and looked up  awning providers and found after my second attempt that the AwningPlace had been to our address.  I called and spoke to a pleasant person who stated the owner was away but that "I was the most understanding person she has dealt with"  We laughed about the entire thing and I gave my phone number for the owner to call back since he was going to be away for two weeks.  I told her mistakes happen and I am sure we could work something out but just do not try to send me a bill since I was planning on taking the awning down with my teenager.  I told her I would consider using their services in the Spring so they did not have to drive it back to me.  She said nothing she could do without the owners say in the matter.
I never heard back from the owner and received an invoice for the removal and storage charge with comments that they could not reach me and to contact them.  The number they listed on the invoice was from the previous owners.  It took me about 10 seconds to discover this by 'googling' the number.  The number I gave them was my home number which is a listed number in the phone book etc.  It would have taken almost no effort to look up my number to contact me directly.
The owner called me back on 12/31 and was past rude.  He was using foul language and kept saying why did I contact the Revdex.com.  I could hardly get a word in and kept trying to explain to him I contacted his business of their error and never got a call back.  I specifically said on the original call not to send me a bill.  I was sent a bill and that is what I kept telling him.   He was obsessed with saying I should have contacted them and that the bill said that.  I kept trying to say I should have never been sent a bill and was upset and that is why I contacted the Revdex.com and that I had already called his business to explain everything with the original phone call.  He told me that is [redacted] and that he will come down and throw the damn awning in my driveway, which he apparently did.
I have my awning returned and will never do business with an owner like this.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Review: We are the new legal owners of [redacted]

The Awning Place came over and removed our awning and put it in storage without our permission or knowledge. I called them to explain their error and was told the owner would call me back. He never called me back and instead sent me a bill for the removal and storage and put in the comments the below:

Note that the [redacted] were on automatic scheduling for removal, storage, and spring reinstall of the patio cover. We were not notified of the home sale.

We are not the [redacted] we are the new owners.Desired Settlement: Can not charge for removal or storage to new owners of a home, this was technically theft and coming on private property. They also have our awning which we would like returned and put back up. I had called and said would be willing to pay for them to put it up during the spring, but will not pay for removal and storage since I was planning on taking it down myself and storing.

The [redacted]s were long-time customers of The Awning Place and we provided maintenance services for their awnings which included Fall removal, storage and Spring re-installation of their patio cover. This service was provided automatically ( before the first snowfall and in the Spring after the last snowfall of the season). The [redacted]s did NOT notify The Awning Place of the sale of their home. If the [redacted]s notified the [redacted] of the maintenance agreement, then the [redacted] failed to notify The Awning Place that they did NOT want us the continue this service. In the normal course of our business and in keeping with our agreement with the [redacted]s we removed the cover on November 23, 2015 and sent an invoice addressed to the [redacted]s. We received a call from [redacted] accusing us of trespassing on his property and removing the cover without his permission. He was told that the owner would call him back. We tried several times to call him but the phone number logged in was not working. We changed the name on the record to reflect the new homeowner and put a note in the comments section to please call us as the number he gave our receptionist was not working. Mr. [redacted]hen filed a complaint with your organization. Based on the comments of his DESIRED SETTLEMENT, it is clear that Mr. [redacted] is just trying to get out of paying for removal and storage as he states that he was planning to have us put the awning up in the Spring. On 12/31/2015 I received your letter and immediately called Mr. [redacted]. The conversation did not go well as Mr. [redacted] is "Stuck on Stupid" and continued to accuse us of committing criminal acts. Talking to him is tantamount to having a conversation with a doorknob. I personally delivered the patio cover to [redacted] South Windsor at 1:00 PM on 12/31/2015 and cancelled the charges for the work performed. The aggreived party in this is NOT [redacted]. The aggrieved party IS The Awning Place as we incurred all of the costs associated with the service provided. [redacted] A. B[redacted], President The Awning Place Inc Sent on: 1/2/2016 10:41:01 AM
