I purchased Potato Latke to try. Usually I get the potato pancake mix which I like. The potato Latke was so horrible, I couldn't eat it. I have Left two messages with the company to call me and let me know if they will send a refund. They haven't responded, and apparently from all I am reading about their customer service, it stinks. If they don't get back with me, I will never buy their products again.

Review: I had FOUR (4), $3.00 coupons (each), for ANYManischewitz Product ( boldly stated on the coupon ).......I wanted to redeem them for four bottles of Manischewitz wine.. ( one coupon per bottle )......I went to [redacted]s Discount liquor Outlet ( [redacted]), on December 9, 2013 to redeem them......I was told that New Jersey law does not allow for couponsfor liquor.... But, if I, personally, sent them to Manischewitz,they would issue me a check within 3 weeks......I called them months later...NEVER received the check....They said they DON'T make the wine...only sell their name to[redacted] Brands.... EVERYONE denies responsibility andno one wants to pay the $12.00.....I did what I had to do as a consumer..... The coupon doesnot mention even ONE exception or exclusion to ANYManishewitz product...... These are MAJOR BIG corporations..It's amazing how little respect they have for their consumers..When I spoke to the woman at [redacted] Brands...[redacted]( The maker of Manishewitz Wines )... she, in essence, told meto go pound sand....Desired Settlement: I would like a check for the $12.00 they owe me....

We are in receipt of your letter dated April 10. 2014 regarding a complaint that was submitted on 4/09/2014 and was assigned an ID of [redacted]. The inquiry involved our Manischewitz wines brand.

The information received from Ms. [redacted] has been reviewed by our Consumer Affairs Department and was forwarded to our Legal Department for review.

The coupons that Ms. [redacted] attached with her complaint are coupons for Manischewitz Foods and are good on any Manischewitz Food product. The Manischewitz Food Company and Manischewitz wines

were owned by The Monarch Wine Company. [redacted] Brands purchased the Manischewitz wine brand only in 1985.

I have recommended our Consumer Affairs Department to inform Ms. [redacted] that she should contact Manischewitz Foods with her complaint so they are aware that their coupon offer doesn't state Manischewitz Foods and is confusing to the consumer.

We would like to assure you and Ms. [redacted] that we appreciate her support of Manischewitz wines.

However, we cannot honor the coupons presented due to New Jersey State regulations and the fact that they do not belong to our company.

Can you believe it took 6 months for them to finally do the right thing???

Review: I purchased Manischewitz Matzo Meal which I have done for years. I opened the first package and then then second package. I saw little black bugs throughout. Was so gross, I couldn't make it. I sent an email to the company and the response was to talk photo's. I save the Matzo Meal so I had to sift through it to get the bugs on top because they weighted more then the matzo meal. I went to be grocery on line account and copies all the product I purchased from them in December. (This happened in January). Email it to them, with my address and they never followed up. I am as angry today as when I get that response to photograph them. I read an review online that says they have had a bug issue since 2009 and getting rid of these bugs is difficult. Shame on them for not replacing and returning my money. They have very poor customer service.Desired Settlement: I want them to replace the bug infested product. And maybe they need to clean their plant.
