The superintendent who scheduled the completion of work for 8/**/14 at 8am never showed up until I called them at 12:45pm.  They then wanted to paint over the exterior wood without cleaning it off first. We asked them to come back on the weekend since we have wasted enough vacation days waiting for work to be completed, their response was  "they don't work on weekends". I asked for days & times next week to schedule the work however I have had no response on a time as of 8/**/14. These are items that have been on my punch list since 12/**/13.  I think I have waited long enough. It is pathetic that a homeowner cannot escrow money when repairs need to be completed at the time of settlement. The process of escrow should return as it protects the homeowner: and the builder cannot blow you off, he'll want his money. But when you pay everything in full and repairs need to be made, you'll find yourself on the short end of the stick with Baker.
All I want is the work that was promised to be completed..........COMPLETED.  This is ridiculous, this is my 6th home with the 6th builder and Baker has failed miserably. I would never recommend this company to anyone.
As an FYI I have all emails to document my situation with Baker.

Review: Purchased in a new development, Highland Reserve, settled in December 2013. Punch list was created and signed off at settlement. Over 50% of the repairs have yet to be completed:Replace warped windows, replace bent screen on sliding glass door, repair appliances, repair kitchen cabinets, Drywall repairs - all 3 floors, exterior issues with walkway and stucco. There are also issues with completing the community: Paving of the street, landscaping & street lighting have yet to be completed. I have emails between myself and Baker dating back to January 2014 to current. All members of the original PA Baker team have been terminated or left the company on their own. The ball has been dropped and no one has picked it up.Desired Settlement: Complete the work that was contractually agreed upon ASAP or provide me with a refund to complete the repairs with my own reliable contractor. Estimated cost of repairs approx. $10,000. As for the community, there is money in escrow with the Borough of [redacted] which will not be released until work is done according to the "plan".
