I have had nothing but positive experiences here I had to move units and had no issuesThe office staff is amazing and always willing to help The apartments are nice and contemporaryThe resort style pool is great and the complex is very quiet

Horrible managementWe lived there years and had such a high turnover on staff including managementEvery manager had something they wanted to change no matter what the circumstances- pay for extra stuff that was not on the contract, change parking spaces that was designated on contract, rent rate goes up every single time you renew contract!Not a family friendly environment, cheap carpet, blinds and wall paint so of course with one touch your kids make in the apartment- you better get ready to pay a hefty bill at the time you move outDO NOT CHECK THIS PLACE OUT! TOTAL RIP OFF! I HAVE LIVED IN A HAND FULL OF APARTMENT COMPLEXES IS THIS IS BY FAR THE WORST EXPERIENCE

First of all I would like to apologize for any misunderstandingWe currently have new management and according to our records nothing was found as to your girlfriend at the time being taken off the lease, our collections agency has all the files that indicate your lease agreement with Barcelona loftsDue to a broken lease it is our responsibility to take action to collect on any past due balancesIf you can find the original agreement which you stated that was approved by prior management I would be more than happy to assist you with clearing up the misunderstandingSince you cannot furnish written proof I will be unable to assist youPlease contact the collection agency and pay off what is owed due to you breaking you lease, at that point all names being effected with a judgment will be clearedAgain I'm so sorry that you have to got through thisIn the future it is important to stay in your lease and not break itIt is a legal document that is signed by all parties

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Upon this complex finally taking the time to "look" for my file, they claim to have "lost" the document I had signed so I would be released from the lease. In effect I was unable to prove to the collections agency that I had been released of all responsibility to pay off that balance. In addition, I have lost the deposit on the new apartment I was hoping to rent. I am also now having to pay off the balance on that account if I want to rent an apartment in the coming weeks. I have had a horrible experience living hereWhen I first moved in the carpet was infested with fleas and dog hairBefore I moved in, I was told I would have new carpet installed which was obviously a lieI also had a dog poop from the previous owner on my restroom floorThe door knobs were missing from the patio door and they were in no hurry to replace themI always had issues with the air conditioner not cooling and had to call 3-times out of an month lease to have more freon added; never was the problem fixedWhen I moved in the contract stated months instead of the agreed upon month lease and I was told I could not get an updated contract but "it was updated in their systems." When I moved out, they charged me for the full month instead of the usual prorated amountThe said the error was because "of their system" and that I could pay the prorated amountDue to their error the charged me late fees for the pay the prorated amount they quoted me! Again they said it was "their system's fault." It has now been two months since I have moved out and they have not removed the late fees (150.00) and given me my refund amountSo much wasted time with this "luxury apartment." Also both girls in the front office would leave early before the stated closing time! Very frustrating when you need to discuss information or pick up packages

My wife and children have lived here for over a yearMy wife has called the owner several times and he just ignores the issues hereThe management ladies at the front deny people complain about several large issues hereSome of the tenants have gotten together to discuss these issues and all of us have complainedwe all have families except for about The property has gone done severely over the last monthsManagement is bad about returning calls or giving any formal complaints on significant and justified complaintsI would strongly suggest for anyone who is even considering moving here to take weeks and visit the property regularly and walk around on your own and observeMake your own educated conclusionOn a humid or hot or wet day or even in the mornings, all you have to do is walk outside and all you can smell is animal poop everywhereAlot of the tenants are also young and irresponsibleI am a professional with over plus employees under meI recommend that the owner immediately find a real professional management team to clean this property up, before further damage is doneWe are looking to move now4k for allWe were saving for a house and have decided it has gotten so bad here, that we would rather moveThe owner has no pride in ownership of his propertiesWhen addressed all of the office staff and owner are not in the least bit concerned enough to actually do anythingOur kids can not even play in any of the grass areas because of the animal feces thereI can smell my neighbors porch all of the timeNothing is ever doneWe have lived in other apartments and privately owned properties before My wife and I have never seen anything like thisShe use to be in property management before

Barcelona lofts. Due to a broken lease it is our responsibility to take action to collect on any past due balances. If you can find the original agreement which you stated that was approved by prior management I would be more than happy to assist you with clearing up the misunderstanding. Since you cannot furnish written proof I will be unable to assist you.
