I mean I can see why but do you really need $that badly? Regards, [redacted] **

It is not a matter of "needing" $30.  We are a for profit business, which means that we are in business to make money.  You made a purchase through our company and you received those goods, therefore we are entitled to payment for said goods.

You're running an illegitimate business, this transaction was fraudulent on your behalf and you know it. The fact is you either A) baked the cake knowing fully well that you could not fulfill my order, just so you could charge me for it, or B) you never baked the cake and lied about it just so you could charge me. I believe wholeheartedly it's the latter. Unlike you, I do own up to all of my actions. First, I requested a curse word on my cake and did not know it was against your "policy" (it's nowhere on your website). Any other customization business would simply cancel the order and refund my money. Second, I picked up on your FOURTH call, not your third call as you said but guess what? The time that elapsed between the first and fourth call was TWENTY MINUTES. I am sooo very sorry I couldn't drop everything at work and pick up for your highness. All of our cakes are custom and made to order.  All of our cakes are final sale and non-refundable for this reason.  When checking out through our web site, you are required to read the terms of business that state this and to check a box stating that you have read, understood and agree to...

our terms of business.[redacted] ordered a cake for her dog from us on October 1, 2015.  On Tuesday, October 6, we baked and decorated the cake for Ms. **.  When it came time to write her personalized message on the cake, I saw that it included curse words.  We called her 3 times and sent her an email before she finally returned our phone call.  We explained that we have a policy in place whereby we do no write curse words on our products.  She became irate that we would not do this for her.  After explaining to her that we would be more than happy to write an alternative message, or just switch the curse words to her dog's actual name, she refused to provide us with the dog's name or any alternate personalization.  I explained to her that we do not issue refunds and that the cake is final sale and that we would be shipping her cake to her yesterday and that she had a choice to have it state happy birthday, or to have it with happy birthday and her dog's name.  Those are the only 2 options available.  She proceeded to hang up on me.The bottom line is that she ordered a cake from us to celebrate her dog's birthday.  She requested a cheeseburger cake with blue icing, and peanut butter bones on the edges.  She is receiving this exact product.  The only difference is that she is receiving it with Happy Birthday and a paw print, rather than happy birthday + curse words.  She can still celebrate her dog's birthday using this cake in the same way that she would have, had it had curse words on it.In the 10 years we have been in business, we have sold more than 7,000 dog cakes.  During these 10 years, we have had no more than 3 requests for curse words on cakes.  Each of the other 2 times, the customers were more than happy to change the wording on their dog's cake.  Regardless of whether she views curse words as terms of endearment, it is our company policy that we will not belittle our products by including curse words on them.  It is unfortunate that curse words mean so much to this person.  She has totally lost sight of the original reason she made the purchase in the first place.  That said, following our company policy, there will be no refund issued, as we shipped her cake on October 6 via [redacted] ground, her chosen shipping method.  Additionally, she is receiving the exact product she ordered.  End of story.

I mean I can see why but do you really need $30.00 that badly?
Regards,
